Title: What to do in Atlanta?

We're four Danish guys in Atlanta until the 12th of September. Is there any shows? Comic/record stores? Anything cool we should see?

I could go for that Abdullah guy's place (he's ANTiSEEN approved). Last night it was all 'Prog Power' festival rage near our hotel in Midtown, only went to a bar next to the mullet festival. Female prog metal fans aint the prettiest in the world. Hope this Termbo Atlanta guy, splash, can hook us up today with something more exciting. Oh wait, Emil (of Kvaern) broke his tooth while eating, highlight of the day. Anyhoo, its good to be back in the South.

Nice!  I was just going to post about it and see if anyone had been.  I've been wanting to visit Atlanta for years to hit this place up.

There used to be a pirate-themed bar in the basement of a crack motel on the southside of town but they closed it down. Clermont is pretty solid, Southern Comfort is pretty nice too. I've been meaning to check out Abdullah's for a while, I'll have to make a point to go there next time I go to visit. The "Vice Guide to Atlanta" is pretty reliable, I lived there most of my adult life and I approve of most of the stuff they mention in there, especially the part describing a bar I used to work at as "If shit could walk, it would come here to puke."

Once in a drunken haze I somehow managed to pay her to sucker-punch a friend of mine with her titty. She can be annoying but she used to do super-nice shit like give me some of her sunday beer when we were leaving the bar.

Fuck, I gotta do this trip in the near future.  Abbie's and The Clermont sound to be worth the trip from NEPA.  How many days would one need to see and do cool shit in Atlanta.  Just a few? 

I get blocks of 4 days off at work.  Which would leave me with 2 days to explore with the other 2 set aside for driving and rest.  Is that enough time.

The Vice guide is pretty fucking good.  Is this a handout in Atlanta or should notes be taken from the site?
