I don't know anything about them, but I have a friend with generally good taste in punk/hardcore/heavy/loud who swears by them.

For some reason crusties used to tolerate this band, I think because they were friends with Chris Boarts (Slug and Lettuce).

Beau Beau. He recently dated a WWE Diva. They also had an ass kicking metal drummer for a while. "Over the James" ain't bad, but I wouldn't swear by it.

I booked a show for Avail in the 90's at a ymca and they were stand up dudes as well. Love 'em or Hate 'em,maybe you had to be there.

Post by: still stupid on October 09, 2009, 06:33:46 PM: once, i bought a red vinyl lp (can't remember which, it was on fat) of theirs at a thrift store (only "indy label" punk lp i've ever found at a thrift store in my town) for 50 cents. sold it on ebay for $30. not bad. the band may be terrible, but i like them cause i profited on that lp when i really needed the cash.
