i will be flying into moscow a couple of times in 2010 and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on where to score drugs, records, and drinks.

I haven't been in Moscow in like seventeen years or something, but I got some people there that I'll forward your questions too, although I don't know how easy it will be for me to help you find drugs. That can be kind of a tricky subject with some people over there just because of the problems associated with it. I had an online friend whose girlfriend was put in prison for selling a small amount of weed and lots of people have been effected by the epidemic of IV drugs and AIDS over there. Fun shit like coke and psychedelics are probably hard to find. Last I heard people were banging shit like Byelie (homemade speed) and Chryornie (like a homemade tar heroin) both of which surely destroy your vascular system within days or weeks I'd imagine and don't sound that pleasant anyway. My friend who used to shoot Chyronie said unlike heroin's warmth it's like a massive forest fire that overcomes you.
Also, I don't think there really are any record stores there anymore either from everyone I've talked to. However, I will pay you decent money if you can find me a couple of different records, which I'll send you a list of.
Punk clubs shouldn't be hard to find. I'll hook you up with that shit.

I was in Moscow last summer and did a fair bit of (mostly fruitless) record store hunting.
Transylvania on Tverskaya is CD only but has a wide selection. I picked up quite a few deluxe CD reissues of Yanka, Kommunizm, Gr.Ob, all the Siberian stuff Kevin talks up. Be prepared to pay heavily for anything non-Russian (though why would you go there for non-Russian music, anyway?).
Sound Barrier (forgot where this is exactly, but you could probably look it up pretty easily) does have vinyl, a lot of rare stuff at semi-expensive prices, but about what you would expect to pay for harder to find records. They also charge exorbitant prices for a bunch of stuff you can get for two bucks at any Half Price Books here in the States. Picked up a Yanka LP for about 30 USD; wanted to get a GrOb 2XLP compilation, but it was 100 USD!
There's this place called Monkey Business in this outlet mall that's advertised as a record store (they have a myspace page with new arrival updates and everything), but it's actually just a shitty skate shop with two tiny cardboard boxes of records. I got tricked into spending half a day tracking that place down, don't make the same mistake.
