It's pretty fucking obvious that Flag still is the best fucking band to ever walk and bash on this planet. What's everybody's favorite Flg song? I'm going w/ Black Coffee (today at least).
-
Chavo singing "Depression" from Decline of Western Civilization.
-
'Damaged I' or 'Paded Cell'
-
Can't pick.
-
Can't pick.
Do you mean you "Can't Decide"?
-
Nervous Breakdown 7"
-
Um...hmmmm, what's the one that everyone else likes?
-
white minority with keith morris singing
-
"Statues" or "8 Miles High".
-
but seriously all hilarious and witty remarks aside, "Nervous Breakdown" or "Wasted" or "Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie".
-
Dez singing "Machine" is the song I pinpoint that probably changed my life in regard to what was possible in music when I was 14 and heard it for the first time. Chavo singing "Depression" might be my fave though.

-
Thirsty and Miserable and Dez singing Louie Louie
-
i agree w dutchman - dez/"machine"
-
Damaged II
-
"Nervous Breakdown," but good call on "Black Coffee." "Slip It In" is a really underrated album.
-
"White minority" with Dez, followed by "American waste" and Henry's "Police story".
-
my favorite Hank song is I Love You.
anything with Chavo, too. Revenge. you wont know what hit you...
-
depression w/rollins singing.
-
fix me
-
I've Heard It Before... gave the teenage me chills when I played it after riding my bike 10 miles from the record store the week it was released. Authority Bullshit. Second = Machine. Third = Clocked In.
-
For me, the first Damaged single and the Jealous Again are the best things they did. I like Damaged a lot too, except for the song that goes "My name is Henry, and you're here with me now."
-
Yeah Jealous Again is my favorite Flag thing, which not that many people seem to agree with. It is just perfect.
-
I agree with Jealous Again as being the best record. I love My War and Damaged, too. Side 2 of My War separates the men from the boys.
-
"My War". The album version's great, the demo version's even better and the live on Japanese radio version kills them all.

Any and every Chuck D. song of which all of these are - maybe? I've Heard It Before, American Waste, even My War was CD, no?
-
The correct answer to this question is "Nervous Breakdown".
-
Yeah, the entire "Nervous Breakdown" EP, but the title track in particular. It's really fucking hard for me to pick just one tune.
-
jealous again 12" is pure perfection. everyting about it, the guitar sound, the cover, chavo singing...fucking great.
favorte song-depression w/chavo singing.
1982 demos are also top notch.some of those versions kill the versions found on my war and slip it in.
-
Nervous Breakdown is the best punk song ever and has the best guitar sound in the history of man. They never topped that song, but fuck who could?
Steve likes Damaged?......wha?
-
Yeah I do. It was the first Black Flag I heard and I still think it's a good album (for the most part) if you can looks past Hank's vocals. That first post was a typo, since I meant to write "the first single" (ie "Nervous Breakdown).
-
I was suprised cause Damaged is a combo of two things you don't like:Sabbath and hardcore.
Henry's vox actually work on that album...except for Damaged I which is pure comedy.
Give me your hand, I'll bite it off......arggggggggggggg g....it's dark in my mind.....STAY OUT.
fucking hilarious.
-
That Break the Back single, dude that shit doesn't even come close. Not at all.
There are a couple good songs on the Fags LP, like two.
-
First two Fags singles are awesome. Break the Back reminds of The Damned if they were Japanese.
-
The second one is the Freaked out Frequencies one, right? The A-side on that one is so fucking great. "Break the Back" is a super undertated single. I sorta wish I hadn't sold the LP, cause I remember their being a couple okay songs on it.
-
"Fake" does remind me a lot of the Damned. Good single.
-
I think the I.Fags 7" on FoF came out before the Rip Off one? Either way those are the first two. I have two singles of theirs that came out after the LP and they SUCK.
