"no matter how outrageous and controversial his musical career has been, Seth was still a human being with friends and family that loved him. I'm hoping that the Internet will remember that"
"the grindcore GG Allin, has passed away due to a heart attack. "
My internet remembers him as a stupid faggot with a shitty band so who the fuck cares. Oh yeah he sorta played with Siege, whuupty doo dah( he doesn't even honor a spell check after I try and post this)

listened to AC alot before they signed to Earache, early 90's, never saw them, but I did buy some vinyl from Seth several years ago, namely the first Accused LP (first Earache release) and the Heresy/Concrete Sox split LP....classic shit
-
I saw Anal Cunt once. It was pretty fun/funny. My friends and I were pretty obsessed with Anal Cunt for about ten minutes in high school. RIP.

The first time I saw the Candy Snatchers they opened up (played before, whatever) for Anal Cunt. There was blood, piss and chaos during the Candy Snatchers set, one of the more out of control sets I've ever seen, and then Anal Cunt set up and did their "funny title" shtick. RIP.

Not cool. R.I.P indeed.

dying is gay

Already posted on child board.
-
video of their show at Brandy Wine festival 1993 is classic AC, I think Exit-13 also played at that show, back when the Relapse catalog was a single piece of paper...
-
Been listening to AC on and off all day long. Used to love these guys. Had some of their early 7"s back in the day. Those weren't that good, however, AC did end up being one of the best grind bands ever probably.
-
never liked anal cunt and grind sucks too. well rip anyways
-
they were good at the Fear of God style noise thing until they signed to Earache, that's when they started with the dumb song titles and actual riffs/song structures... when I think of grind I think of early Napalm Death, Carcass, etc...

grind does not suck.
-
never liked the band much, but that heroin blowjob picture ALONE is quite the legacy. R.I.P. or whatever.

Grind (and I mean GRIND, not hardcore, noise, death metal etc) didn't entirely suck for about 15 minutes circa 1987, but it-- appropriately-- expired faster than pretty much any other genre I can think of. Insect Warfare are the only consistently really good grind band I've heard since the second Napalm Death record, although early Brutal Truth had its moments. Carcass Grinder and Discordance Axis were impressive live but the records didn't catch it.
Basically, pre-death metal Napalm, Terrorizer and maybe some early Carcass are all you need.

[/quote] exactly, F.E.T.O. is probably the essential grind, and first two Carcass albums, Terrorizer album still fuckin kills everything, and also that Defecation album from '89

you're the gayest guy I've ever seen
you play on a softball team
FAGGOT

hard core street cred checking in here too, i drove to a basement and saw them in high school, so early 90's. they played for maybe 15 minutes, then did a one note encore which i thought was very funny. of the 20 or so people in attendance were a japanese couple, which absolutely blew my mind. they could barely speak-a the english but they knew this band and found this place. i asked them if they knew tokyo ska paradise orchestra, and they said yes, but did not seem nearly as excited about it as i was.
tspo were not super famous yet then either.
WORLDWIDE UNDERGROUND SHIT.
ska'd for life.

No way, they actually got better when they started doing "real" "songs." I'd way rather listen to Sore Throat or Seven Minutes of Nausea than early AC if that's what I'm looking for.
-
Never really liked AC musically, but funny fucking guy...great heel, and seemed like a legitimate weirdo.
just found out today that AC's final show was the last time they played at Now Thats Class...missed it but heard Seth got head on stage.
-
RIP, dude, RIP
311 fucking sucks.

Yeah, the existing threads about this abject non-tragedy were already amalgamated in the child board.
-
Ah, ci. I never look here.
-
Seth was nothing but super nice to me everytime we hung out. I know some of my friends didn't like him, and I know he's done some fucked up shit, but he was always real nice to me.
I'm bummed out about this news.
RIP Seth.

played miami a few years ago and the show ended in seth vs. a bunch of lesbians who wanted to beat him up
