You could give me a packet of Dramamine, six deuces of Bud Ice, and a moo-moo and I'll stage a one-man play version of it on your lawn. Or any lawn for that matter

Sounds like the Shrines record I never bought.  More Lenny's Kravitz moments here than the last KKBBQ album, but there's a few memorable tracks.

I've got an extra one if anyone wants to pay postage in the USA.

King Khan played a bar in Goleta, CA to a crowd of maybe...15 people (?) a few months ago. Therefore he is cool.

Nobody else likes the Black Jaspers?  I think that shit stands up, although "to what?" is another question.  If you don't like it because you think there's much better punk that is stupid and naked with similar idiotic-smart lyrics, please lemme know what that is and the nature of my discogs wantlist'll once again change.  Tom Scharpling once compared the Jaspers to a kinda "feel-good" version of the Murder Junkies, but I'm not sure just how spot-on that is.

I like some of "What Is?!" a lot, but I'll admit I fall for the really contrived faux-Arkestra/Ethiopiques horns adorning the tunes.  I really appreciated the Lenny Kravitz allusion and think the two should work together.  Oh, also, Khan's account of his temporary (?!?) split with BBQ and the ensuing debacle opening for Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson is a fun and not short read: http://lineout.thestranger.com/lineout/archives/2010/06/09/say-it-isnt-so-king-khan-and-bbq-breakup

I like that "No brain No Pain" song a lot. I think the LP is not bad at all. Don't listen to it often though.
