yeah those two very creative guitar solos sound an awful lot alike.

Wonder if t S. Weasel ever played with them when (i think) they hit ontario in the 80's and played with the likes of Teenage Head and Forgotten Rebels. I guess The Mods were probably gone by then...It Might be possible don't know...might be pure coincidence also (probably)...

i don't know anything about the mods and i only know like 2 screeching weasel songs BUT...i think it's coincidence. it's pop punk. there must be 100 songs with that identical guitar solo.

Oh yeah...i just thought this one was very obvious, and it's not just the solo, the song as a whole...no big deal at all, i'm pretty sure it's pure coincidence too...
Speaking of the Mods, someone should reissue the Mods "Step Out Tonight" 45...
