We'll be playing a FREE show as Rockford's favorite sons, Cheap Trick!  Before our set, DJ Live Snakes will be playing horror-oriented junk & rare punk, and the bartenders are shilling $2 Rolling Rocks and $2 Rebel Yell bourbon all night.  The band will probably play at 11 PM, but you should show up early, preferably in costume, and drink your face off!  Come on out!  It's gonna rule!

 Eric, my band practices 2 doors down from you in 206. I think I may have heard you guys working out these covers. From what I remember it sounded decent.

This sounds ridiculous in a good way - if im back in town and recovered from toronto - i'll be there.  i wish that body count cover band was playin again this year, i still regret passin on that one!  EVIL DICK

They are playing again this year!  They're doing Milwaukee on Friday night, and they'll be playing a free show at the Mutiny on Saturday with He Who Corrupts and a coupla others.  Ask Dan and Doug from the Bold Ones about it.

haha , Yeah I saw right after I posted that - I'll be at Toronto Fest for the weekend though.  I guess I'll have to persuade some band there to cover EVIL DICK so i can get my dick fix.

 Eric, it kinda varies what nights we're there. Sometimes we practice up to 4 days a week. If you ever hear a hardcore/punk band w/ vox that sound kinda like mine (like an angry wounded cougar) in that room it's us. Feel free to knock. I walked in on a Bold Ones practice a month or so ago. Pretty amusing. Brian Miller and Rob from I-Attack's new band practices directly above us too in 311.

i was set to go to this, i had money in my wallet and everything.  then i fell asleep on my couch when i got home from work and woke up at 11:30 still sitting up on my couch with my jacket and boots still on. 

pissed to miss it.
