Somebody needs to buy that Wongs single. It's awesome.
-
Shit yeah. I bought that record at Dr. Freud's in Manitowoc while I was in high school. I still think it's a great record ten years later. The LP was a little different, but I was a diehard, so I loved it too.
-
I remember where I bought that single too (Oar Folk in Minneapolis), and it was probably one of the first records I bought based solely on the sleeve.
-
I bought it through UMed because it had a song called "Jerkin' it to the Trashwomen" on it. It turned out to be my least favorite song on the record though. "Get Away" and "Quite Drunk" are both tits teenage punk though. This and the Last Sons "Meteorite" 45 were my first true indie 45s. BUT that LP on Rip Off sucked balls.

I haven't listened to it in ages, but I really liked the Wongs LP (despite it's differences from the EP). I should pull it out again.
-
I remember it being pretty solid, though the only track that comes immediately to mind is the great opener "Urge To Fuck."

The Wongs LP was pretty average, wouldn't say it was horrible. But just really middle of the road.
