I don't know if this thing still works for set sales, but figured I would give it a try. If I sell nothing, then I guess it's on to discogs or something. PM me with anything you want. If there are multiple people who want something it becomes first come first serve. All prices are PPD. If you want to make an offer you think is fair, but different from the pricing that's fine. However, I reserve right to counter offer. Any questions feel free to ask. Sorry it's annoying to read.

EDIT: I agree though. I've gotten some great records on this board through the years. Got most of the Gibson Bros. records I own from here.
I haven't weened out the singles in a good long while, so there might be more coming. Some of these are still Hozac Hookup Klub or CDR singles club stuff that I subscribed to for 2 or 3 singles. Ahh the good old days when I had money to do that. Before marriage and kids.

I whish there could be more like "in the good old days" when one of these were popping up every 2 days or so...
Discogs has eliminated Set Sales. Why write up anything when you can just click a few buttons and have acces to a world of customers? Only benefit of a smaller community is trustworthiness of buyer/seller. But that didn't stop Mr. Blank Dogs Scam or others I suppose.
These kinds of scene oriented sales make sense on a board like this. But it's not very lucrative. If everything up there sold that's a lot of work for not a lot of money (not trying to be mean, just truthful). Though that's not gonna happen, just the nature of selling items. Nobody sells 100% unless it's at a loss. My only point here is that it's unlikely you'll ever see a stream of interesting set sales ever again thanks to Discogs.

I kind of agree, but I figure if I sell anything to people on this board it is going to a good home. You're not making money on used records anywhere unless you a flipping garage sale find Beatle butcher covers (for example)

Nothing for me this time around, but some of my best TB set sale purchases have been from clif sales in the past. Will always be happy to check out whatever you're unloading.

The counter to that is if you're looking to clear out some records quick, the ol' TermBo set sale is way better than Discogs. Most will go in a week, rather than in drips over months. This is especially true if you're willing to "lose" a dollar on a 7" and sell it for $2 or $3 instead of $4 or $5 on Discogs. Maybe not the best spot for flippers or people looking to squeeze maximum value out of a record, but great for getting records you don't want any more into the hands of people who might appreciate them. But agree...a lot of the crazy good stuff isn't as likely to show up here like it used to.

Exactly. For those of you playing along at home (or work) you're basically getting the single for 2 to 3 bucks apiece and the lp's for 5 to 6 because of the PPD.

Ok new guy question here. What's a set sale?
Does this mean you're only selling them as a set, meaning the whole package? Like, if I only want that Pussy Galore, I'd have to buy the whole set? If not, I'm confused to what makes this a 'set sale' vs a guy listing records available for sale.

Whatever happened to that Hozac band Spider? That EP they had with Sweepin the Ruins, Boozetown, Witchcookie... it had 3 really great songs and a few that I didn't care for.
Did they ever do an LP? Other bands?

Please.......you always come through. That Capt. 9's rules too. Cut those 7"s loose in high school to a kid who said he lived right down the street from that tiki lounge so I feel alright about it, but damn, I think I need those back in my life.
