The new Demon's Claws album, Satan's Little Pet Pig, is out now on LP and CD and is available here - http://intheredrecords.com/pages/news.html
It's really great, I swear.

Larry,

Thank you,
Josh
I would also like to know this as well. Please respond, Larry.
-
I've got the Demon's Claws in stock, if that's what you mean.

Dear Larry,
No, that is not what I mean. What I mean is this:
I made an order months back based on the records listed on your site and was informed that a few of the records were no longer in print/in stock.
What I am wondering is this:
Are all the records you have listed on your site available for immediate purchase?
Thank you,
Josh
-
hey josh,
it's pretty hard for me to not run out of things every now and again but, yes, i have everything in stock that's on my site now.
-
Rad.
-
D'oh! I got everything in stock except for the Cheater Slicks Trouble Man 7" - that's on my site but I don't have it.
-
Any news on that Black Lips LP?
-
Tell them I want my acid back. Fuckin' jerks!
what is that acid story now?
-
Aren't you in the band? I gave the band 40$ worth of acid in exchange for getting into their show. I drove from fuckin' Green Bay to Milwaukee just to give it to them. That's about twenty dollars in gas. I was trying to do them a favor, but they couldn't get me into the show like they promised? What a bunch of bitches.
I wouldn't have gone out of the way to do it but they sounded really excited and said they'd never done acid before!
I have paid to go see them a few times already. Won't do it again. I support assholes, but not ones that are too big of pussies to tell a doorguy "hey, these guys gave us some free drugs, so we're going to let them in, ok?"
-
ohh yeah i remember you complaining about that a while ago... i still dont get it...
anyway i dont do acid since at least 10 years...
i dont know who in the band took the acid.. but ill ask.anyway we are pussys! doorman's are scary... we all got beat up by them a couple of times... and it sucks...
next time we go to milwakee i will get you in... and you can drink my beer tickets... but i dont want no acid.
-
It was Jeff I think? Longer blonde hair.
I'd be happy to see you guys again if you get me in drunk and free!
-
YSAEL is GREAT! I love you Canadian brotha! Whens your demon claws is coming to play in Wisconsin?
-
Ysael rules!
-
I thought the other guy seemed awesome too till he ripped me off!!
-
i love you too brothers! we should go back on a US tour after our europe tour! cant wait!
back on the pabs and the sparks again! im gonna bring some poutine cheeze and gravy! so we can try to fry it and do the most intense poutine ever!
-
hey you have to come to Florida on that tour. The bar will be open by then.
-
and about the Angry Angles LP?? their myspace don't work.. and saw that Jay is playing with his band (that is really cool, hope to see them in Spain sometime this year?)
-
There's still going to be an Angry Angles album, though the band isn't going to continue beyond that.
-
After listening to this thing a fifth time I'm giving it my seal of approval. Buy this record. It gets better with each listen. Seriously. This is coming from the same person who made fun of them for covering "Sweet Home Alabama," sold the promo I got of their first album for less than two bucks, and walked out halfway through their set last time I saw them. I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. In fact, I'm digging this so much right now I may just have to write a proper review for TB.
-
wow, thats a pretty nice recommendation. These dudes always seemed cool, and I thought they were pretty good live, but never got into the records, i'll have to check this new one out though.
-
cool that the album is still coming
about the Demon's Claws... i dig their first LP, it have some really good songs on it. hope to dig this one too
-
I liked the first album, but that Live album Hook or Crook put out was awesome. I hope this is as good as that.
-
Demon's Claws are pretty much the only reason I hope that Quebec never separates from Canada!!!
I like this front-page headline from this past weekend's National Post:
Will Poutine Take Manhattan?

-
YSAEL!!
Don't forget you promised to make Lisa & I poutine as well!!!
Get into the USA already, GEEZ!
-
The Demons Claws also stole my patch cord after I lent it to them at a show in toronto. (Actually, I ended up really drunk and forgot to ask for it back). But I really like their first album, and the Spring Branch EP, so I'm looking forward to hearing this one, despite their patch cord thievery.
-
Shadow Of A Castle off the Spring Branch EP is amazing.
-
yeah, Shadow of a Castle is easily one of the best tunes of the last few years.
-
Yeah "Shadow of a Castle" is great, though I'm quite partial to "Huntin' On The 49" as well. I also love how they're pretty much the most white trash band in Canada (and I mean that in the nicest and best possible way), reppin' Chicoutimi, Winnipeg and Calgary all at once!
And isn't there some place they sell Poutine in Wisconsin somewhere (at least that's what Fucknee told me)? I'll never forget when I got the Catholic Boys guys into the Poutine... they thought it was like the best shit they've ever had in their lives. Hilarious!

I don't know the name, but I heard the b-side to one of their singles (I think it was on P Trash?) and it was really great. Is this what you're talking about?

Naw. Shadow of A Castle is the last song on the A-Side of the Hook or Crook "live" 12"EP. You might be thinking of the B-Side to the 7" on Perpetrator ("Tom Cat", the one with the kitten on the sleeve). The B-Side of that one is "Space Freighter". It's a hot jam too.
-
Oh, right. It's also the first song on the new LP. I haven't really paid attention to the song names on it yet. Yeah, it probably was the Tom Cat single then.

You forgot Inepsy, Mitsou and steamies!
-
I'm sorry, but what in the hell is poutine?
-
I'm sorry, but what in the hell is poutine?
French Fries smothered in cheese curds and gravy. A French-Canadian delicacy.
-
I'm sorry, but what in the hell is poutine?
Trust me, you do not want to know. It's fucking disgusting.
-
Poutine is amazing.
-
I was introduced to poutine in MIlwaukee during the Summer and it was great. That was before I broke my vegetarian diet though, so I had veg-head poutine. Great great stuff. In MIlwaukee right now and the boozer across the street sells Pabst Genuine Draft. Amazing.
-
The place in GB with the good poutine closed. It was a Greek/misc. diner that had the best hot dogs, gyros & only poutine in the city (that I know of). It was actually better than the poutine I had in Montreal, but I've heard that was mid-level stuff. They played 50s/60s stuff (always heard "Psychotic Reaction" and shit like that) pretty loud and you could smoke anywhere in the restaurant. I miss Demetri's.
-
I got drunk on the train and have been thinking about poutine all day and think Demon's Claws are really boring. Either way, drink more PGD and off to watch a doc on zines. Blow me, Todd.
-

and another question more... tyrades??
-
There's a place on the east side of Milwaukee called Red Dot that has poutine, and it's half-off (as are the other appetizers) every Sunday started at 5PM!
Awesome, I might check that out Sunday... then go get bacon!
