I can't believe I haven't posted about this before. It's my favorite idiotic thing on the internet (I love dumb ass shit)

Past years have been disappointing, but the field for 2018 is strong as hell, and I feel like Termbo would have good opinions about this:

BULLTRON:

Salami Blessing is the 'Nova of this tournament, an obvious bet. Miracle Crimes is criminally seeded at 13 but has an easy route to a huge upset. Mosthigh Thankgod is an obvious name change (at some point in lineage), which depreciates their value. Jimbob Ghostkeeper seems like a topical entry to challenge George Saunders's award-winning premiere novel Lincoln in the Bardo, which gives him some clout. And I also love Tuna Altuna, but I have to take Salami Blessing, it's just too perfect.

FRUITHANDLER:

Makenlove Petit-Fard is also seemingly invulnerable, but we have to dive a bit deeper. Darwin Tabacco is unbelievable. Obra Kernodle IV follows Drew Magary's rule of lineage, but Jempy Drunker could win the whole thing because it sounds so good out loud. I'm taking Jempy Drunker.

DRAGONWAGON:

Overrated 1-seed. Darthvader Williamson kicks ass, "Darthvader" as a first name is goddamn great. However, Delicious Peters (RIP) deserves to win this tournament. A name no one could live up to, a name that defies convention. Chosen Roach is another easy upset. Mike Diaper and Adele Gorrilla are strong as hell, but nothing can surpass Delicious Peters. He is destined to win.

CROTCHTANGLE:

Dr. Narwhals Mating has a million things going for them, and this is a weak region except for GENUINE POTTS, which in a better world would win. A superb name for a human. The only rival in this regional is Gandalf Hernandez, but it's a pale shade of what you'd call competition.

I have to give the whole thing to DELICIOUS PETERS, but I do wonder how terminal boredom feels about the aesthetics of silly names, so I am posting this before voting opens, and we can waste time tracking it.
