Man-Eaters demo is best so far
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwGrFMkx3Hs

Wow very chicago thread so far. Mock Execution is some fire, saw them a week or so ago and they killed everyone. Man Eaters is mad stupid. Maybe I'm biased cuz I know who is in it but idk man, there is definitely better stuff than the new chicago punk n roll band that only started cuz these dumbasses got rejected from DIY for various reasons so now they can at least play to 21+ bro punks at reggies or chop shop or whatever.
Anywho, Milwaukee is going the fuck off https://gangstalkermke.bandcamp.com/releases
-
culo and tarantula are both garbage so yeah that checks out

nah

YAH bitch YAH
-
Culo still rules. I liked Gas Rag more than Tarantula.
Physique 12" has been my favorite recent release. This Mock Execution EP is pretty fun so far.
-
For the record I would like to make clear that I was saying nothing about the relative merits of Culo or Tarantula (or Bleeding Gums) musically. I do think Man Eaters actually sux tho
What's the grace period for late 2018 release posting? Biiiiig into this Priors LP: https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/s-t-lp-7

80s hardcore worship from Japan, from 2017 but oh well doubt many of you have heard it. This actually sounds like it was recorded in the 80s. Same vocalist as Heime I think. If anyone has a download to this or has a CD to rip PLEASE HIT ME UP

Holy shit how did I miss that connection? Nico's voice is pretty recognizable. I was shocked that there was hardcore in Nashville but it all makes sense now.

Cool to see some young punks thrashing again in Milwaukee. MiSTER in a skate shop basement: https://youtu.be/anHx0WIOvn4

Did anybody talk about the new Scrap Brain album? It's really really good, which was a bit of a surprise since I didn't particularly like their first EP.

Me too. Was starting to wonder if the band was dead. Friggin’ overjoyed for this to come out. Consistently amazing band.

Kaleidoscope catalog is always in rotation. One of the most essential/important bands active right now.
-
This is probably the best newer band in Atx. New stuff being worked on is suppose to be like Gastunk "Dead Song "era https://ninthcircle1.bandcamp.com/album/ninth-circle-e-p
They are a bunch of nerds with no connections which is probably the reason they don't have any records out by now.
-
sounds like pretty generic metal crap; to me but e/e

can't wait to hear all the songs from lp, sick band

"This is what happens when The Varukers start gettin nugged and listening the The Grateful Dead and Black Oak Arkansas."

Got the latest (and last) Out Cold LP yesterday, but haven't really had the chance to listen to it yet. Sure it'll be great, though.
-
Nosferatu good
Kaleidoscope good

if you're not listening to the new cereal killer then what are you even doing in life
-
Okay... so, it’s obvious and almost goes without saying at this point, but this new Kaleidoscope album is fucking solid. So much hard work and true thought put into it down to the artwork and booklet. Way to go dudes. You’re making the realest, meaningful shit I can get my hands on today.
-
New Kaleidoscope sounds like Condominium to these ears. Into it.
Bad Breeding’s “Exiled” rules. One of my favorite bands going. Biting and insightful political lyrics paired with noisy guitar squall and pounding toms.
Asid MLP on La Vida Es Un Mus is total bonehead hardcore. Sick guitar tone. “Fever” is my pick.
Khiis LP also on La Vida is a riff monster. Very clean, which is usually not my thing, but it works here.

Where can I get the US pressing of the Nosferatu LP? Neither label seem to have a website or much web presence. I love the band, but damn, the fact that they’re so hard to track down is taxing.
-
Are you sure it's out yet? From the LVEUM bandcamp page: "USA Customers - There is a USA press coming out soon so save your money and shop local."

I guess I just assumed since that version was out that the US version is ready. All I know is that I couldn’t find much on either label. I guess that could be because it isn’t out yet. Haha.
-
Two tracks off the upcoming Das Drip LP. Loved the demo, but this kicks it up some notches. Can’t wait to hear the whole thing.

I heard from Albert that it would be out this month.
