I just ripped the two songs from the ComPILEation LP and tacked them on the end of the original link (tracks 12 & 13).

Drewby will appreciate this... Forgot they had a song called "Don't Go To Maryland"!

TVeye, thanks for wrapping them up into the megafileupload link. You might want to add these and re-upload it.

According to TeenBeat Mayhem, it's from Staten Island, NY, 1965. The flipside is described as "crude hand-clappin' mersey pounder" - sounds like the better of the pair. Could you post that side, please? Thanks!

The tour made a stop in my hometown and I was dying to plant ourselves at a sports bar down the street from my house called... wait for it...

http://tastydinerri.com/

but obviously it wasn't conducive to transporting and looking through about a dozen long boxes of 45s. So we set up on a bench in a supermarket parking lot and hung out for five hours till 3am, then he vanished into the night headed for the promise of bonzers in Western Massachusetts.

Looks great, Jason! Nice that all six tracks will be available for those that weren't around 10+ years ago when the unreleased 45 came out.

No credit on the manhunt over here? (At least it wasn't as bad as the Artifix site saying that a "Japanese collector scouring myspace" located Jackie Shark.)

Scrod, if you're reading this, would love to get a CD of the Wisconsin stuff you mentioned...

Power(less)pop boys, I have uploaded the entire Modulators LP here. Ripped these back in 2005 before I sold off my last copy. Contrary to what appears to be the consensus, I actually think it's a pretty good pop album. Although it could do without the WICKED GAY chorus of "Spin Me Around" and painful cover of "My Back Pages."

"Cynical" is definitely their best moment though, and the only thing I ultimately kept by them.

I've seen a few $100+ copies since the $30 copy and then wished I would have picked it up, but I don't like buying records to flip.  Found several other better recs that day (probably from the same collection).  Wouldn't mind hearing the LP again outside of a record store listening station though.

Music Shit / Re: Steve Starlust? 70's glam artist?
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:40:01 AM »
It's from New York, mid-70s. I got a handful from Steve Starlust in the early 2000s. He didn't remember an exact date of release but said KISS was recording their debut album the same time he was recording this single. Cool 45!
