Hated is great, totally entertaining...haven't seen that since Kim's NYC closed.
The Jandek doc was a good introduction to that guy, not a lot of answers, but I don't think I would have approached that whole insider mess without that doc.
The Devil and Daniel Johnston, just plain great movie, even if you would never buy an album.
Hype and Scratch are great docs, I love that director.
A couple I've seen lately on netflix are the runaways one...kind of sucky, it's shot like a 1990's MTV promo, but the stories are crazy and the doc about Mia Zapata from the Gits...crazy...worth watching, great band I never knew of.
Kurt and Courtney...I don't know who's worse, her or that english dickhead interviewer.
I forget the name of that Clash doc that came out recently, but it was great, so inspiring...except for Bono, what a douche.

Just to keep this thread going....saw this at Academy and had to hold myself back...I emailed every DITG address and haven't heard anything...that's just fucked...why would a distro get this first! I fucking preordered!

Bands should maybe just check on what kind of douchebags want to 'release' their music and fuck people over...it's not their fault if this guy seemed legit, and after the fact they found out...I'm just saying it leaves a bad taste....WHEN I SEE IT ON THE FUCKING SHELF!

I got the three way split the other day (brooklyn), so I'm still holding out hope the others will come through. Does make me think twice about ordering again.
It does reflect badly on the artists if this guy screws everyone....I think some responsibility should lie there also.

My cats tend to crew on the plastic sleeves, so a few of those need to be replaced every once in a while....once they get at one I just let them have it and then they don't care and won't get into any others...they really will only destroy what you really need to read/watch/listen to/wear.
But mostly they don't care about the records and they should be fine...
The water bottle thing never worked for me...they just run when they see me going to get it, they don't ever not do it...just when I'm not around.

Got mine last night, it shipped from Beggars USA on Hudson St in NYC? So I'm confused why I paid in pounds and with shipping, but on the good side the post office didn't destroy it since it only had to get to Brooklyn.

I think probably all vinyl is a 'fuck you' to the environment. Just don't go throw that one sided single away. I'll probably appreciate it and keep that shit forever. That's not a waste.
A waste is pressing shitty music no one cares about.
That said, it does bug me that there could be another song on that other side...I mean in the end I like music not shiny black discs.
