Kelley Stoltz, home-recording guru and multi-instrumentalist fom San Francisco, is back after his acclaimed 2010 LP on Subpop "To Dreamers" and other projects with Sonny and the sunsets.
His new 7"
Caroline/Marcy is coming out in march on les Disques STEAK (Paris/France). Two songs about imaginary girls, imaginary dreams, first song ever about a girl called Caroline (or second one) , tasteful guitars, organs, and nugget's production all with Kelley's sense of poppy melody and great lyrics.
The artwork is by Sonny Smith.

word from Ben Blackwell:
"The inimitable Kelley Stoltz arrives with two songs using woman's names as the titles. "Caroline" motors on like a new wave song without the dated production and is a nice curveball from what can usually be expected from Kelley. The b-side "Marcy" is a beautiful, understated acoustic ballad that will be sure to make any woman weak in the knees. For an artist who always kills it on full-length LPs, it can be easy to forget Stoltz's prowess in the single world. These two songs are a welcome reminder."
