Graduated high school in 1994, terrible all around.  Most of my cousins that I went to school with were in Vietnamese gangs and are now "hardasses", I'm the only person in my family to graduate college.

Record should be bitchin'. Why is it every time I see something about this band they are being compared to DinoJr, BTS and probably most strange, Jawbreaker? If the new songs are any indication of their "sound" I would say Beach Boys, early Pavement (up to Slan/Enchan) and CCR.

Will see them if the play the Bay.

Did I miss something or did everybody get too cool for Jawbreaker?

Band always has, always will rule.

Yes, way to surprise me Termbo.

"Yes Sir, I Will" is one of the most profound masterpieces I've ever read.

Can't get over this band lately... I'm surprised more people havn't mentioned them on here.  Stuff from new album sounds great... listen to "Poison Sermons".  For fans of 90's indie scene.  Apparently recorded by one of the dudes in The Wax Museums.

I'm not sure why anyone who's here and listens to "marginal" music would care whether any of this will change the world or get mainstream recognition, it's important to us, or at least some of us (the ones who continue to linger maybe haven't figured out where to go next? I don't know).

Denton, TX (Wax Museums, Teenage Cool Kids, Bad Sports, Silver Shampoo and of course Marked Men/Potential Johns (RIP))
Adding to that The Secret Bangs and despite an awful name, The Uptown Bums
Noted, will check out.
I guess I should include ANS, who rip pretty hard, even though they don't really fit into the Termboniverse.

What cities/regions do you think are producing the best bands?

IMO...

Denton, TX (Wax Museums, Teenage Cool Kids, Bad Sports, Silver Shampoo and of course Marked Men/Potential Johns (RIP))
Columbus, OH (Times New Viking, Psychedelic Horseshit)
Hell the midwest in general
