I'm in a band called Ah! Pook! I posted a topic a few months back about getting some shows out of town and you all were extremely helpful!

If you're a fan of Pujol, which you should be, we will be opening for them on August 26th at Tiger Mountain in Asheville, NC.

I'm definitely going to try and get into the scene in Asheville. I have played a few shows in that area.. Odditorium, some weird warehouse out in the middle of the country, but I never really met anyone that had any hook-ups.

haha!!! Okay i will accept your equivalency about shellac and NASCAR. Quality control is definitely a worry of mine, but i definitely fret over what gems might be buried in those otherwise shitty tracks. I like to conceive and record the conception all in one motion, but maybe that is ill-advised.

We cover a lot of The Damned and The Dead Boys. Other than that, I dont cover more than 1 or 2 songs a set.

I've never heard of Globsters, but I will fuckin check that shit out and try to hook up with em.

You have no idea the environment i grew up in! Churches, liquor, swinging bridges, all that shit. There is no tolerance for anything weird from where I hang around. So when I get local people to pay attention and support me, i cant tell if it's because what I'm doing is original and good or if it is just different from whatever is normal to them.
