Now up for pre-order, Alastair Galbraith - Morse LP our first release on our series of New Zealand reissues

This is awesome.

Are you the ones behind the upcoming Roy Montgomery reissues, too?

No Trend -"Too Many Humans"

weren't the master tapes lost or something?

it looks like no trend may finally be getting the reissue treatment, i guess not all the tapes were lost.

i saw in the youtube comments that Blast First 'petite' is putting it out.

There's a moment in "Lunatic" on Don Cherry's Symphony for the Improvisers where it sounds like Pharoah Sanders is splitting a small animal -- a cat, or perhaps a mongoose -- apart with his mouth. That's been the best thing I've heard today. Fairly "out" for Blue Note.

interesting observation. besides ornette's "love call," dolphy's "out to lunch" and wayne shorter's "the all seeing eye," what are the other "out" blue note albums? come to think of it, that shorter album isn't even very far gone. it's just deep.

Jackie McLean's Let Freedom Ring, One Step Beyond and Destination... Out! (among others), Tony (as Anthony) Williams' Lifetime, those early Bobby Hutcherson albums, and Eddie Gale's Ghetto Music.

Agreed on those choices. I'd put Grachan Moncur III's 'Evolution' and 'Some Other Stuff" on that list as well.

any nyc people have any luck yet? best buy theater site seems to be weird, I keep getting an error message.

Me too, finally gave up.

Try a different computer or browser. I gave up after 45 min of waiting, figured they were sold out. I checked on my phone and picked some up around 1pm.

Binder clips work well. You can nail them to the wall or attach them some other way
