An assured transmission of unfailing dark energy emits from the speaker cones of Tropical Trash. Taking the thrust of their first record, UFO Rot, and lacing it with the dread that life at sea level 2018 gets you, you are left with one of the best statements in ?ber rock available in the current police state. The steam coming off this band at recording was apparent, as the recording is shit hot coming from jetting in fresh from a European tour. The songs swing with the assured machinery of weeks on the road but breathe with the freedom of a band operating on all cylinders.

For almost 10 years, Tropical Trash have been dumping acid in the water supply with their angular brand of the rock music style. While their first 7??s and LP have been well received, this new record is a true step into the pool of pure pineal gland panic. Paranoia and hallucinogenic terror make up the backbone of this record, with the blunt drunk swing of amyl huff from the back speakers coming from a Radio Shack two-way playing the most future rock available to nerd burglars everywhere.

Sharing the same broken genetics as Scratch Acid and various OZ sewer crawlers, this band ups the ante by inserting blunt objects up your welcoming hole. Known up and down the East Coast as a wardrobe malfunction away from a felony, the spectacle of their shows has left many tongues mopping the floor. The record truly conveys the whiff of SWAMP, and the songs presented on this platter demand repetition. Such is their insidious nature. Past tapes have earned them acclaim, but this outing sees the band work its magic on a swinging set of songs that will get your butter churning.

This LP features some excellent NSFW pics as well as a gatefold rivaling the nacho gorge of Tres Hombres. You ready to buy a grown up record? I think its about time.

Velvet lined steam roller tactics mean Tropical Trash?s LP debut ?UFO Rot? descends from the sky straight onto your brain stem. This is potent stuff, meant to be taken in controlled doses. Load the spoon full and heat up gradually.

The band has existed for two previous 7??s but really comes roaring out of the gate with black hat tales and some line up changes. May very well be the album you use for whatever you do when you are not reading the internet. Instead of trace papering some shadow punks of previous dictatorships, these patriots pull the curtain back and show the emperor sporting some very exotic under carriage, and spew forth tales with cop stashes, Area 51 belly bloat, and new reconfigured mainframe math ? this is the new form.

Nine condensed blasts of well honed songcraft that really put them at the top of the heap of the rock heap, with paranoid punk, and an eagerness to melt it all down and make it into something bold and badass. Don?t sleep on this one comrade.

The second full-length from Brooklyn's White Suns is a passage into the deeper recesses of contemporary psychic struggle.  Their previous album Waking in the Reservoir (UgExplode, 2011) blasted the surface of this territory with its barrage of cannibalized electronics, mutilated guitars, effects-laden drums and wrathful vocals.  Sinews (Load, 2012) stretches the band's previously presented ideas beyond their breaking points.  On this release, the band's dense soundscapes are explored in more detail and warped beyond recognition.  These are the sounds of a populace coming to the realization that help is not on the way and no one else?s fingers will pull the triggers.

Daily Life are a two piece from Providence, RI. After several tapes on Unskilled Labor, the band (CF- vox/synth, Sakiko Mori - synth) decided to enter the studio with Jeff Zeigler (Philly studio wizard) and emerged with a sugar glazed classic of monstrous icy proportions. "Necessary and Pathetic" sketches out a sputtering romantic vision replete with horny armies emerging from the darkness set to a lush trash strewn landscape equipped with sputtering drumbot rhythms. Croon power is set to 10 to ensure moist thongs. Vocals bring forth stories of aimless midnight wanderers, smarting from discipline, and lustful pilgrim rituals with the hard sting of the sunrise. This is not a lo-fidelity stab at synth-pop but a fully formed set of songs executed with maximum vision. After all the buildings fall and the survivors are wandering the wasteland scrounging for dogfood, there will be few truths, but do realize this: the few things of beauty and grandeur, such as Daily Life?s "Necessary Pathetic" LP/CD will exist to instruct the human dog pack to a greater destiny. Stock the shelter with at least one copy.
