Still available from us:
- Tyvek (In the Red records, from Detroit, their latest EP) // 4? From 7inch blogspot "Keep it simple, get rid of the excess and create poignant bursts of rock. Tyvek is reinforcing their stance on all of these things in this latest single".
- The Pupils : raw teenage punk from Paris, approved by Greg Cartwright ! their first LP // 10? From Doug Mosurock "One of the most stripped down and direct records to come this way from over there in as long as I can remember. Great guitar tone, great presence of vocals, good hustle and aggression. The Pupils play less tribute than they do continuum, lean and angry rock music for thugs and those aspiring to thuggery"
- Bosom Divine LP/CD (side project from Cheveu) // 10? - 7? From Doug Mosurock "Following up a killer single from a year or two back, Parisian combo Bosom Divine lay bare their intentions across this full-length, a snarling, worshipful ode to California in the early-to-mid ?80s. Black lights and Dexedrine streak across both sides, revealing a strain of Dream Syndicate/Gun Club/?Rodney on the ROQ"
- Andre Ethier EP (ex Deadlky Snakes singer) // 6? From Dusted magazine "DO YOU GET IT GUYS HE?S THAT GOOD, with a very sophisticated, adventurous, and ardently traditional way with arrangements, and the attention paid to these ones easily best most of the music that gets covered here, irrespective of genre"
- Les Bellas (liminanas before they turned into liminanas) LP // 10? last copiesFrom raven sings the blues blog "Sad to say, this one almost didn't see the light of day. Following a couple of great singles way back in '03, Les Bellas had a deal set up that fizzled before it cemented and so too did Les Bellas themselves, spreading out to other projects such as The Liminanas. In a similar vein to their spawn, Les Bellas refract the past through a prism of 20/20 hindsignt, playing garage-punk with just the right amount of soul and swagger".
