Music Shit / 70s ohio band i cant remember

help me out yall, early 70s ohio band i heard about on this board. or somewhere termbo related. not punk, dancy, funky as all get out but more stooges than parliament, horn section, talk/sing vocalist. only had 1 record? i think there was actually a live album on itunes. basically where !!! ripped their whole thing from. i remember they had a website up and they still play once a month or something, or they did like 6 years ago when i saw it. for some reason the phrase "spare change" sticks out in my mind but could be completely unrelated. i feel like maybe there was a question mark in the band name or a song title.
