hello,
well i've started a small tape label called Foreign Fish. the first release on my label is by Hermosa Beach's "The Imposters".
if you don't know The Imposters, you should definitely check them out. go here to listen to some of their tracks: http://www.myspace.com/theimposterspunk. they have released some great stuff over the last four years. i'm not really good at describing bands so you can read some reviews of them at the bottom of this.
here is the cover of the tape. there are 16 tracks total (listed below). they are demo, cover and early cut tracks. order away!
it is limited to 50 tapes (24 of them have some poorly made stickers)

"Great debut ep from CA's THE IMPOSTERS. They bring us 9 songs of fast, snotty HC like early JFA, FACTION, and stuff like that. Catchy songs that are simple and short-to the point. They even throw in a couple surf-punk diddys that are awesome as well. This has a very cool-raw but 80's sounding recording that really gets the point across."

"You can tell that these guys probably want to be a fairly generic 80s hardcore band but for some reason or another they're just off, and that's what makes this record truly worthwhile and interesting."
"California's Imposters delivered one of the stand-out 7"s of the whole SoCal hardcore scene, and this 12" picks up right where that left off. This has a very strong surf music influence (there's even a Ventures cover) but these guys sound like they could give a shit who JFA are... in other words, it's not cheesy bullshit, but real-deal beach punk. If this were 1980 Posh Boy would be all over these guys, but it's 2009 and there's not a myspace genre category for what they're doing so nobody probably cares. GREAT guitar work too... definitely a great LP if you're looking for something a little different."
