A sealed copy of the Prominent Disturbance LP popped up in the 'bay last night but already BIN'd for $49.99 (well worth it in my opinion) I thought I'd do a Google search for "prominent disturbance" to see if any info had popped up since I first posted this but it doesn't look like anything has... Thought I'd top this thread in the off chance the right eyes are looking..

New Releases For Sale/Distro Updates / Re: GASENETA book/7" deal
« on: May 06, 2017, 09:21:55 PM »
I got mine about 2 weeks after ordering but there's really no way to estimate how long it will take because (in order to charge less for shipping) Public Bath ships via a service called SAL Airmail that ships when there is "Space Available" in shipping containers already going out. Kinda like those moving services that are cheap but take a lot longer because your stuff is shipped in a truck that doesn't leave until there's enough stuff going to the same destination to fill it up.

Anyone know who "BLunger" is on Discogs? He sent me a message about the Hams 12" that I now have in my collection asking what I know about it (which is still nothing) and I see he listed a third release on Down & Out by a band called "The Turks". I replied and told him the little I know about PD and The Hams and asked him about the Turks cassette but he never responded.

The actual song being cut-up by the DJ in that documentary is "Get Up and Dance" by a group called Freedom.  You may remember that sample as used by Prince Paul for De La Soul's "Buddy (Remix)"

Music Shit / The Sickness-Corpsemonger 7" sleeve info needed
« on: December 26, 2011, 02:05:02 PM »
Can anyone tell me if there are sleeve variations on this one?  i have two different sleeves, both of which are one-sided black ink on xerox paper, one is yellow paper, the other is white paper.  the one on white shows signs of being a photocopy of a colored paper sleeve as there is ink showing copy of dust particles/shading near the edge.  the yellow paper sleeve is cut to the same size as a poly bag and the white sleeve is cut with an extra inch of paper that is folded over to fit around to the back.  the printing on the white sleeve is also more centered so the word "CAUTION" is lower than on the yellow sleeve.

i guess what i'm asking is: is the white sleeve legit?  i read somewhere that the band possibly printed up more sleeves on white paper to meet demand.

also: was there ever a backing paper or an insert?

thanks

yeah the Sillies was one of the highlights for me.  checked the 'bay and there was a copy up with a $49.99 minimum bid.  hoping it'll go back up a little cheaper

Real Traitors on the other hand i would pay $150 for
