Music Shit / Re: MRR ARCHIVES PROJECT -

Since I didn't have enough work to drown me, I contacted the lead archivist for MRR's Archive project about creating digital versions of the year-end polls with links to bandcamp, youtube, www, soundcloud where folks could hear the bands that made the polls (or hear the bands they had not heard or forgotten about). They are interested in creating pages on their archive website that would include the year-end polls with links. I am currently making my way through 2017 when I have time to listen. And there are 3 other people who volunteered to help with this so far.
If you are up for helping out send me a PM with your email address and I will send you PDFs for the 2017 poll and a link to a Google Doc. Basically you would choose a letter or multiple letters, find the links, enter the data in the Google Doc, and listen (or not). And repeat. We have already completed A-G.
My plan is to work backward to the first poll but I'm fine with taking a different approach if that's the will of the group. I have recent issues and can scan those polls if anyone wants to keep helping and the archive contact said MRR would send us PDFs for polls we don't have. Let me know if you want to participate.
