My first impression is similar to Steve's (less specific details) in that some tunes just kill it, most are solid, and a couple are duddy. Great story/packing/etc., a tailor-made for the record collector reissue. This is only after a couple listens, though, and it seems like it could be a grower. Either way, this and the Endtables are two very intriguing reissues that are well worth the cash.
what this guy said, except I don't have the clout.

You can DL the 320kbps version, which is probably finer sound quality than most CDRs that bands/labels send off for vinyl mastering.
Really? I would have thought even the super-low-budget-digitally recorded bands/labels would at least be sending off something such as 48kHz/16-bit WAVs or something for mastering. That is not to imply that I think you are wrong, I guess I am just somewhat surprised that the shittiest of the shit contemporary recordings don't sound tinnier especially in the highs and lows. Take me to school DJ Rick.

For the Francis Harold (black) I had to adjust the weight of my tone arm down by roughly 0.5g of the ideal weight I play most records to finally get it to play Mirror of Fear straight through. I'm sure the people experiencing the skipping already tried making adjustments, but just thought I would put that out there.

No locked groove on my copy.

This one is my favorite of the lot.

In Chicago, the records just came today. They look fantastic, can't wait to listen to them in a bit.
