Dunno why you all don't like the sound of the Agitated release. My red copy holds great compared to the Numero A Place Called Bad LP versions, would even say they sound on par. Also compared to the Murder Punk CD version.
What reallllllly sounds muddy is the Pissed On Another Planet Mini-LP versions from 1989 on Timberyard Records.

somebody compared to sound of these two reissues?

first 3 tracks were not that tight and sound was not great and i first tought wellllllll.
but after 5th track also the soundguy catched up and it turned grrrreat. god damn amazing live versions of we had love etc. not just doin the 1:1 studio reproduction. wonderful guys. a thing not to be missed.

I also got me the LOAD records LP reissue for the two extra tracks. But hey, my copy has three ?digital errors?. The original doesn't have these errors. On these tracks I hear the errors, sounding like a CD that gets stuck for some milliseconds:

-        Track A4, first quarter of the song, at 01 min 15 sec (ooooobvious)
-        Track B3, first quarter of the song, at 00 min 34 sec (obvious)
-        Track B5, last quarter of the song, at 02 min 49 sec (ooobvious)

hate that. P-a-lease, lemme know if this is just my LP copy (almost impossible, doesn't sound like a pressing defect) or if it?s really a mastering error. Load never answered my question (if you're reading this Load, feel free to hire me for free as your test-pressing-listener).

What I can tell you: Else the LOAD reissue sounds better than the original! So if you didn?t hear these errors on the reissue so far (consider consulting a doctor) or they are not there on your reissue copy: no need to upgrade.

Thanx bros

I've been listening to The Incredible Simon Stokes and the Black Whip Thrill Band album as well as the Simon Stokes and the Nighthawks album. I am fairly new to Simon Stokes, although I remember checking him out a few years ago. However at the time...I must have been distracted or something, because I kind of just forgot about him.

Anyway, really getting into these two albums. Seems to be so much going on here. A bit Kim Fowley, Hunter S Thomson, Timothy Leary—Hell's Angles, country twang- rock n roll all balled up into one.

I don't own these records. Just soul seeked them. They don't seem too overly pricy or too common either. Have to keep an eye out for them.

Anybody else into him and have recommendations on other stuff? I've heard these are the best two albums, but there is also some singles worth checking out.

his singles are the same takes as the on the s/t lp. make sure you check the flower children "miniskirt blues" for one of his earlier outputs.
