also if you say christianity isn't punk then you are basically saying that having any religion at all isn't punk, since they all revolve around pretty much the same basis which is faith in something. i don't necessarily support christianity or any other religion in particular, i just think that's kind of off. having faith in something shouldn't take away credibility from someone, it's just what they personally choose to attribute their life to. also, if you're saying dry rot aren't punk for being christian then you might as well say youth of today weren't punk because they were krishna.

I approached this band with some serious trepidation and they actually ain't too bad.

Haven't heard the new ep yet but Love Comes Close won me over after a few listens, despite having a few clunkers on it.

Used to listen to a lot of this stuff back when I smoked a lot of grass... Fahey, Jack Rose, Sandy Bull, Robbie Basho, etc.

Nowadays when I'm in the mood for some pickin' it's usually something like Davey Graham or Bert Jansch. Definitely into the folksier stuff more than the raga.
