They got the same shit in Mexico too.
When I was in Europe I thought that Turkish food had more in common with Mexican food than Greek. They serve alot of Chorizo over there in Turkish restaurants and they spice everything really heavily like Mexican food, and it's all made and served by brown people, just like Mexican food.
yes i plan to be there on friday.
some info would be nice though, like where in antwerpen is "le campine" and at what time is it starting... i asked los llamarada and they didn't know it themselves yet.
Caf? La Campine in Antwerpen, corner of the Cadixstraat and "Kempisch-dok-Westkaai 38. This is in the nord side of the city also known as "t'eilandje", near the Bonaparte dok. I have no idea when the band starts. I plan to be there around 21:00 but things usually start rather late over here.
Tof h?, zo wat in het Engels tegen elkaar zitten lullen...
"they were great yesterday in hasselt. very nice people too.yes i plan to be there on friday.
blues control also ruled, they played really loud and my ears are still ringing...
looking forward to seeing them again next friday."
Yeah come to Antwerp Poodlebites!! They're playing this neat little bar called "Le Campine". It's gonna be GREAT!!
Our Paris is the 28th of February. I don't know details yet though. The festival is in Brussels and it's the first of March. Both shows feature both Pink Reason and Psychedelic Horseshit.do you know the name of the festival in brussels or the name of the venue?
siamese bands.
CQ has to have the dutch-est album cover of all time. allmusic calls them "proto-hardcore." i never realized the other guys names were frank beek and ronald splinter. the songwriting credits list some dudes named busch and buzz too. either those guys were 10 years ahead of the punk name fad, or the dutch are the fuckin goofiest people ever.ron splinter and wally tax were the songwriters, ron was the one in charge of the music. in cq they wanted to share the credits with the rest of the band and that's why in cq all of them are credited, but the songs were still written by tax and splinter. i'm not making this up, he told me that. you can still see him playing every now and then. he's got a new band now (the dam are called i think) and he uses to play in festivals if he's invited (he played with the lyres a couple of years ago and with the skidmarks) he rules.
edit: does anybody know what all that fuckin talkin is on a lotta their shit?
