.... You ever come out of a coma, and they won't give any fucking drinking water, just fucking ice chips? Man, I'd rather eat a gun than fucking ice chips...cocksuckers.

So I'm finally out of the hospital. After slipping into a 4 1/2 week long coma for no good reason. Seriously, a kung fu fight, or rad car chase crash... anything - would be cooler than the truth.....truth is I stayed in bed on a Friday because I thought I had the flu, then I go and have a seizure.

AT the moment I sound like Larry Flynt as I chewed on my tounge a wee bit too much during the seizure. Anyhow, toss in meningitis, encephalitis, a blood infection, shingles on my eyeballs, a pulmonary embolism or 2, and double pneumonia...and let's just say I was a bit more than fucked. I was damn near proper dirtnap fucked. Take yer pick which could have done the trick.

Anyhow, they told the wife I'd be in therapy for months learning to walk and talk again. I managed to chop that down to a week after tasting their food. Despite the food, I do have to thank the folks at HCMC ICU for saving my ass though.

It was some crazy shit. Going Rip Van Winkle alone is fucking bizarre.

Seriously spare me any empathy/sentimental crap, I made it - and besides, I've never taken (or given) that stuff to well. I figured I'd give you guys the scoop in case the rumor mill got shit twisted as usual. It's all good as I'm alive. Just be gonna be a bit before I can fuck shit up. I have the strength of a beaten kitten at the moment. Using a cane enhances the look as well.

Plus a Thursday night punk show with some surprises.

Baseball Furies will be playing two sets - one with Dapper (OG Buffalo line-up drummer) and one with Billiams.

Plus, there will be in in-store show at Spiral Scratch Records Friday afternoon with Odie/Vilent Lovers Club.

Friday will be the LAST EVER Blowtops show. Creepy Dave is retiring from the RNR life.

Saturday is Fatal Figures first show, with Aaron/Tracy/Scott from Blowtops plus one Mr. Chuck Grenades.

Chrome Spiders = Tom Potter's new outfit.

Bart will have the final Baseball Furies LP ("Throw Them To The Lions") available at this show as well as the debut Chrome Spiders 7". Further show record distro action from Feral Kid Records, Big Neck and Spiral Scratch.

Verne Gagne, 82, is a former wrestling champion who has attained folk legend status in Minnesota. And Helmut R. Gutmann, 97, was a former cancer researcher who came to this country after fleeing Hitler's Nazi Germany.

Both have suffered from Alzheimer's-related dementia and had been residing in a Bloomington facility housing people with Alzheimer's and dementia.

In a tragic moment on Jan. 26, Gagne apparently threw Gutmann to the floor. Gutmann was taken to the hospital and died 20 days later.
