Richard, whats your take on this killer vid and the dudes in it? (Watch towards the end for a dude with a killer 'stache and a GBH shirt jumping onstage and headbanging with Joey.)

I'd love to see some Tales From The Darkside episodes again. Those used to not sit well when I was younger. Looks like they're available as a 6 dvd set for $30 on ebay...

That was good stuff. Especially b/w an episode of Friday the 13th the series and a two-liter of Pepsi on a Friday night when I was in 8th grade. It was the theme music to Tales from the Darkside that was so fucking creepy. I used to just hear it and shit my pants.

Anyone remember an older TV show (like 10 years ago maybe) called American Gothic?

Yeah! I loved that show... super creepy and very well-done. Too bad no-one remembers it. It's not out on DVD, is it? I remember it was produced by Shaun Cassidy and the kid who played the lead was a really good actor.

Yeah, the whole series is complied into one 3xDVD set. I saw it at the store the other day which was why I asked. I really can't remember it, but I am pretty sure I watched it...

SS, did you see Kobe elbow Mike Miller in the throat last night? What's your take on that? Flagrant bitch-ass foul or something that had to be done?

The Czech pressing plant fucked it all up. I think they lost around 180 copies in the mail, so I say there about 300-320 (or maybe even 200-220 if Jack only did 400) copies in circulation. That same plant fucked up the entire run (all 400 copies mispressed) of the Lili Z. "Leatherlution" single, which SS then came to the rescue and had the good sense and grace to put out. Haven't heard anything from Royal/Polly Maggoo since, and I dont think they got a refund of any kind, so thats enough to kill a small label.

I think I might whip it out tonight. And probably watch the T.Rex DVD too. Has anyone ever seen the Iggy Live in LA Target Video? They had that, but it looked kinda dodgy. Its from when he has Clem Burke in his band and he does Stooges and solo stuff. I hid it in case I need to go back for it, but I wasnt sure of it.

Freak and Geeks was so good you just knew it was doomed while it was on the air. All of the Media Play chainstores arounf here are going out of business, so DVDs are all like 40% off, so I've been blowing some money. Lots of Japsloitation stuff (Got the nice reissues of Female Yakuza Tale and Sex & Fury, with commentary by none other than Chris D. himself). Got the T.Rex Born to Boogie set which I havent watched yet. Cleaned up on some Seventies B-movies, of which I watched 'White Lightning' and 'Gator' back-to-back last night. Burt Reynolds' best stuff for sure, but White Lightninig is the far superior film, although Jerry Reed in 'Gator' might be on of the best hillbilly-as-slick-gangster performances ever. That guy was good. Also picked up the Raquel Welch rollerderby flick 'Kansas City Bomber' which sucked bad. I mean, how can you fuck up a movie with Racquel Welch and rollerblading in it? I dunno, but they did. Stay far away. Bought a lot of classic gore on the cheap too: Dead Alive, Street Trash, a shitload of HG Lewis, Tourist Trap, blah blah blah
