Loki Label will have some.

Had a great time, thanks to all the bands and everyone who came out. Extra thanks to NTC for being the greatest bar on earth, Mr. Steven Peffer for extra help/guidance and making some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had, user marblestat for graphic/art skills, Paul Mac for killer sound and Charles/MME for the minty WLP copy of "Pacific Ocean Blue". The night went by way too fast, can't wait to try it again next summer..........

New Cement Shoes single is great
https://cementshoes.bandcamp.com/

The sample they used on the first track is pretty ridiculous

Agreed on all accounts. Record release show @Lokifest tomorrow in beautiful Cleveland Ohio.

I have issues with all sorts of shit on that chart (wtf are Inmates doing on there?) that I am not going to type out, but I will say I'm pleased some kid at least took the time to do this.

Reptoids LP was the best LP of whatever year it came out + better than all the singles [which are all good, though both Boozys are the best].  Richie is wrong once every 5 years.

I think I was thinking about that Jackson Politick LP when I wrote my comment. Love the singles just cant hang with a whole LP.

Just days away. I'm raiding the archives of copies of many OOP Loki titles for sale in Clevo ony, will have a few new releases, dumb limited edition stuff, zines, and more.

COME ON DOWN.

Andy Human and the Reptoids s/t. why the (RK) hate? I think this album is good.

I tried real hard to like it after hearing some singles I liked. Just nothing memorable there, sounds like toss off songs from other records or something to me, at least that's the feeling it gave me.

My father once told me a story about how during the height of the Cold War, the space race, the Americans had invested millions of dollars into developing a pen that could write in space. The Russians? They used a fucking pencil.
That's me, Ray. I'm the fucking pencil. Casper's killers knew this, and now they're trying to erase everything I've built.

Sometimes you're just a clerk at a shitty motel listening to muffled sounds of assfucking through the thin walls. What i'm trying to say, Ray, is do you have a reservation? Cause we got no room for walk-ins, not tonight.

Russians once sent a dog into space Ray. A mangy mutt who had no hope. And she died. Just like Casper. Stan. As it turns out...I was the space capsule, rotating, trapped, floating in a black cold hell.

It's a dog eat dog world, Ray. And I'm the fucking Chinaman.

What did Peter Piper pick a peck of, Ray? Did he pick a peck of my fucking shoes? No, Ray. Peter Piper thought he was picking, but he was really selling. And selling don't work when you've got no eggs in no baskets. Casper knew this.

It feels like were back at the playground, Ray, and all the kids are fighting over who gets to use the swings.
Except now everybody's too tired to swing, we just want to sit.

All my life I've been bringing knives to gunfights, and now that I have a gun everybody's switched back to knives. Know what I say? More bullets for me.

They say life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get. Well I do Ray, you get fucking cavities.

You want to know why I drink, Ray? My wife's waving around her womb like a goddamn bargaining chip and asking me why I don't want a bring a kid in the world. Well sweetheart, I can think of 5 MILLION fucking reasons!

She sells sea shells by the sea shore? She's a whore, Ray. And the only sea shell she'll be selling any time soon is her own fuckin' clam.

Sometimes you have to fart really bad, Ray, but you don't know if it's going to be a fart or something more. No. Not until you commit.
But you always commit and you're standing in the middle of the supermarket in shorts. Know what I'm saying, Ray?

awesome

this is still so funny to me. been rewatching some of s2 and Frank is even better with age, or maybe because of how much i can still laugh at all of these

One of my favorite fictional characters ever. I was just trying to sell s2 to yet another person this weekend.

I've actually had decent luck getting wooden crates from TJ Maxx/Home Goods that work for 45s. You probably wont get a matching set, but stopping in there every once i a while has got me 6 or 7 that I like and that are stackable. Michaels has a standard crate that holds them too, but they're not high on the sides so they won't stack.

Texas volume is HEAVY HITTER. Midwest volume is pretty hot too. I agree on the Cali volume being lacklustre - "Tammy Wynette" in particular drives me up the wall.
86
Beautiful. Are those on canvas?

I wish people traded audience tapes of SY shows the way Deadheads do.

Not a Miles fan in general.

Same here.

Just ordered that new Coltrane, pretty excited for that.

Table Sugar - Collected Aknowledgements 12?

9 and 12 are the best of the bunch as far as I'm concerned.

I tend to agree
