Music Shit / Vinyl Countdown - The Wind reissue
« on: March 18, 2008, 10:12:11 AM »
Vinyl Countdown has been living life in the slums lately. However, we have pulled ourself up and are putting out some more stuff in the next few weeks.
The first will be a vinyl reissue of The Wind - "Where it's at with the wind." There will be some extra (possibly unreleased) tracks tacked onto the end. I'm hoping to do a nice gatefold reissue but it all depends on $$$.
Second up will be the Sgt. Arms full length. I'm still working out the details with Bill Lloyd on this one though. It will include the walking on the roof/caught in traffic tracks as well as an entire shelved album that's never been released.
I'm also hot on the trails of a possible Caspar full length. I've found the original owner of Rock Steady records and he thinks he might have more tracks from around the time the 7" was recorded. Caspar himself recently sent me a video of 6 songs with Michael Mcbridge playing on drums. They're all very cool raspberries style pop (same feel as the 45).
Hopefully the wind will be out in June and the Sgt. Arms around August. That's all assuming everything goes smoothly though (which of course it never does).
So there you have it.
