Music Shit / Re: Crazy recent eBays

Anyone got mp3s of this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330247127622&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=014

At $800+ it should at least be worth a listen. If I'm gonna drop $800 on a record it had better be one of the best things I've ever heard.

Long gone ... sorry.

Do you still have the trashed spare sleeve?  I may need!

Had a Vomit Pigs EP arrive in about 8 pieces once ... fortunately it was insured and I did manage to find another with a trashed sleeve a few months later.

Used Records For Sale/Auctions/Wantlists / Re: calling all Canadians

I have some Modern Minds that was recorded from a live radio broadcast in Edmonton just around the time the EP came out. Includes Pointed Sticks and Modernettes covers if I remember correctly. Also has songs not on the Japanese CD. Get in touch if you want a copy.

I used to find the Canadian issue of the Pack LP fairly regularly but haven't seen one in ages. They must have made a bunch of them and it used to be sitting around in $ bins before many people knew what it was.

Not only do Euros generally not know how to package records, they don't know how to grade them either. Those shitty paper envelope things seem to be a British invention. And anyone who sends a record loose in a bubble envelope needs to be shot.

WSDP kinda trumped the SPK box with that Insane Music box

What's that? WSDP did an LP called This Is An Insane Insane World with Bene Gesserit, Pseudo Code, etc. It's been out for a while. I haven't seen any releases from them since. VOD does have an Insane Music Label retrospective 4LP set listed coming for September.

Music Shit / Re: New Vinyl On Demand Titles-WARPED?

Speaking of which - is anyone on here currenltly subscribed to vod?  Is it worth it?

Yes and Yes. I like almost all of their releases. There are only a few I probably won't ever listen to again. With the lousy exchange rate and shipping costs it gets rather expensive for the year but trying to track down the releases individually would be a pain. And many come with bonus 7"s, etc. Plus you get a deal on his distro items and they get sent out with the regular packages which saves on the shipping. To get the 4 releases so far this year from some place like FE (assuming they aren't sold out already) would be something like $475 plus shipping which is more than 1/2 of the subscription price and there's still 20+ LPs, etc to come.

I'm a subscriber but haven't heard anything about warped copies. I got mine about 3 weeks ago and they were all fine.
