I guess "whipping shitties" is a Midwestern/Minnesotan variant of the more bland "doing donuts." I'd never heard the later until I was long past shitty whipping/donut doing age.

The Australian equivalent is to fang a u banger. I love the use of fang as a verb. I would also like to see more events referred to as bangers, earlier this summer i went to a party known as the frogtown banger, Sadly the event didn't live up to the name. Fortunately, I was the one who named it and was the only one who referred to it as such, so there is hope for another frogtown banger that lives up to the name.
