Music Shit / Aussie BOYS
« on: July 29, 2010, 06:26:49 PM »
yeah, they have a good song or two... seriously you guys need to get out of here with this "THEE BEST" BOYS shit. THE BOYS UK have a completely unfuckwithable ALBUM. A-L-B-U-M. Start to finish P-E-R-F-E-C-T. I only like half the 2nd Album (sorry), but even those songs destroy the Aussie BOYS. Then there are THE BOYS US. Shit is from like 1975 and it's still the most angst-ridden in your face US Powerpop ever waxed. I mean, BOYS UK vs. BOYS US, at least there's a challenge there. Aussie BOYS have what, a catchy song? COME ON!

Cities / East Bay Vegetarian/Vegan fare??
« on: May 11, 2010, 08:52:35 PM »
Too lazy to see if this thread already exists. Please to offer suggestions of Vegetarian/Vegan restaurants worth eating at in the East Bay. I'm more interested in regular places with accidentally vegan items on the menu so I can appease the meat eaters I know. Brunch? What's that Soul Food place? Mexican/Burrito places? Crazy Ethnic? near Amoeba? HELP!

bunch of retarded stuff up, a few with soundclips. good for a laugh anyway. def check out some comp clips, "DEBUT NO. 1" has the earliest RUNNING WILD tracks that are awesome. also 2 radio station comps with mediocre powerpop/wave tracks that you may want to keep your eyes peeled for in the bins if you are a glutton for punishment:

Non-Music Shit / 3 million eBay auction posts
« on: March 05, 2010, 08:20:40 AM »
Is anyone else getting super annoyed with all the double digit superpoasters clogging up the Sales thread? It seems like there are 50 lurkers who've never contributed anything except auction links, often for shit that is of marginal interest here. I don't think there's ever been anything on eBay I cared about that I hadn't already found on my own. Does anybody care or am I just supposed to grit my teeth and "ignore it?"

I know waxidermy has a 25-50 minimum post thing. Not sure if it's automated or just moderated. WHO ELSE CARES?
