Anybody got copies of this in the US?

I agree

I just finished a set sale last week. granted it wasn't "collector stuff," but no one wanted a coloured balls reissue. I would rather deal with people on here as opposed to discogs or Ebay, but stuff just doesn't sell as well.

I'm going to keep trying because I am stubborn.

Agree. I think the second Gris Gris album is even better.

Louder Than Death the new one. King Khan basically re-recorded half the Black Jaspers Lp with MAgnetix as his backing band. Sean Spits is only on one song, so this is a King Khan record. It is fun to hear the Black Jaspers songs with a real band, but would rather hear a King Khan/Spits collab. Not bad, just really hoped for an extension/more fleshed out ideas of the first LTD record.

Also, new Golden Pelicans is great. Songs are faster than Disciples of Blood. More NWOBM sounding to me. Sick stuff. Not a shred of garage rock seems left in them, which is fine with me.

Wolfmanhattan Project - Blue Gene Stew LP
Had foolishly low expectations but am pleasantly on-board.

Thee Headcoatees - Punk Girls & Bozstik Haze LPs
Original issues, natch...Can't deal with the Damaged Goods art tweaks, inoffensive as they are.  Why do I even care about that distinction?  I should die immediately.

The Jazz Butcher - Distressed Gentlefolk LP
Mostly "Big Bad Thing" over and over.  Rest is just alright.

Rubber Blanket
Getting preview snippets and each new tune impresses.  Can't wait for the album...Oughta knock lotsa people out.

Have/had low expectations and skipped. Might give a try.

New Ausmuteants is pretty fun. Has the feel of listening to an 80's hardcore record about Reagan and the government. I like it better than the previous for sure.

Stefan Christensen and Friends - Unknown Fortune lp : A nice middle point between Mountain Movers and Headroom. Meditative and seductive. A nice record to chill with after a long day. Liking this a lot more than his last couple of solo joints.

Rolling Stones - The Unsurpassed Masters series 1 though 6 in the car. Old favs and dad rock supreme. My kids think I am old

King Blood - Hocus Focus - Not quite sure how I feel about this one. First of all is it supposed to be 45 or 33? I am guessing 33, but it works on both. I need some more time with this for a more solid opinion. I like it, but only gave a few songs a serious listen.

Also, still on a bit of a Troipical Trash jag after seeing them tear Bloomington, IN up a few weeks ago. A true force to be reckoned with live. Mainly the Loki tape and "new" album, Southern Indiana Drone Footage.

About to crack open the new Ausmuteants and give it a spin. Haven't heard a note, but know the theme. Curious.

Really looking forward to the Gary Wrong on mind meld too. More than the Nance, but both will be great.

I'm definitely in the camp of this being their best record. Really love it... do Matt or Rich do anything musically these days?

Rich drums with Tommy Jay's Latest Freakshow and Pink Reason in addition to performing as a magician these days. Matt does sound for Royal Trux sometimes. Sounds like he will be touring on guitar with Pink Reason this summer when we go out to the west coast though.

Play State Street Pub in Indy on your way out west Kevin!

I thought I posted this already but guess not.

Scavenger of Death
Ryan Dino lp - already out and forgotten
GG King tape

I love that Ryan Dino lp.

Ahh, Donny Paycheck was in Camerosmith. Sorry. Continue on whippersnappers.

edit: to be true to the thread. Been really digging into the Crypt Real Kids reissues lately. Had them for a while and gave each a cursory listen, but really getting into them now.

Onto the rawk with Aerobitch...

Is that Donny Paycheck from Zeke's band? I'll cop to liking some early Zeke.

Too bad this devolved into idiots acting like idiots. Looks like a lot of them are gone now. Spent the last hour listening to stuff from this. THanks for the knowledge. That's what this board used to be about.

Anything new pop up on people's radars in the meantime?

Awww shit. Tour the triple ax attack in the states please!

Is it just me or does the second song on the new record sound like Dancing with Mr D twisted around?

I never got the Minutemen references until this record. Now I totally get them. I like it.

I agree that most of these other "Jimmy bands" were not for me, but I have liked most everything UC has done. First album and this one in particular. Second one was just kind of treading water to me.
