As a companion piece to the Ebay thread, what crazy records have you actually seen turn up in a record store recently?

Me: New York Niggers "Headliner" 45, Agnostic Front "United Blood" EP

I know the latter sold for around $250 CDN and I'm trying to find out about the NYN 7" but the shopkeep was tightlipped.

The last time I paid to see the Cobras play was actually in Montreal. I skipped the Toronto show the night before to see some hardcore band from Saskatoon (or was it Regina?) and me, Maltodextrin and Martin from Career Suicide caught a ride with the band to Montreal the next day. Martin and I go record shopping in MTL and see that the Cobras are playing so we ditch the hardcore show in favour of the gay-rage and the Cobras don't show up so we get to see an hour-long Les Sexareenos set instead. Great fuckin' show but small fuckin' world, no?

Naw, we're playing a house party the night before. Too bad, I wanted to play but couldn't get the rest of the band organized to do it.

Headache City are also from Chicago.

Malto, I still have BOTH 7"s aside for you. I wrote you months ago asking if you could find me the Tranzmitors single on La Ti Da (copies floating around Scratch apparently according to Mr. Genetic) and you never wrote back.

Tell you what: 3 Bayonettes records (that includes the brand new one) in trade for that Tranzmitors single and MY copy of "Age of Quarrel". Deal?

I'm not the new guy - that's John from Terminal State. Me, Manno and Dave Brown are the original line-up (no bass player for first show with Modern Machines in January - only played because NOBODY else wanted to play). Beav joined like two weeks later. John joined after the demo was recorded to "add melody".

John added his new guitar parts to the demo and they'll be posted on that new myspace account Manno made before the weekend. Should sound sick.

And yeah, let's do that record for real. We're hitting the studio in December.

Personally, I suggested we start a line-up outside White Orchid and then let everyone in once the bands are set up, but Mr. Eliade nixed that idea. So instead the afterparties are indeed first come first serve. When it's full, it's full. Such is life.
