ehighs new lp is a limited tour (mis)press (last song is excluded, though it comes with a DL that has it) numbered of 50, mega rare fuck up press.

I live in new haven. There's shows... I'm going to one tonight. I believe the spot you are referring to was a place that me and my girlfriend ran called Popeyes Garage, which was on goffe st which isn't east rock or fair haven so maybe were not talking the same spot. There were shows there for about two years before the building was sold to united illuminating. Shows still happen at daggett street lofts, cafe nine, elm bar, partners, and there's usually a rotation of houses doing stuff (the best current house spot is 'the panty haus'). There's also some sort of Yale affiliated 'DIY' art space at the corner of college and crown doing shows very occasionally but I'm not certain as to what their deal is. Redscroll Records (20 mins north in Wallingford) is a very good shop and also has occasional shows. Things are a bit slower now than they were a couple years ago but there's still stuff happening and a lot of interesting people.
