« on: April 13, 2015, 04:26:13 PM »
Thunderroads from Japan will be playing the Burger Boogaloo in July and I'm trying to help them get a couple of shows in LA. They're looking at 7/5 through 7/11. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My knees buckle in when I go to shows. No swift movements coming from me anymore. I also can't hear very well. One good thing is, I officially don't need my ID to get into shows anymore.

Do you care to share your geriatric stories?

Non-Music Shit / Credit Card Cloned!
« on: February 09, 2010, 10:16:00 AM »
I just got a call from my credit card company informing me of an unusual transaction on the husband's card. Apparently, the thieves cloned his card and tried to buy $400 worth groceries. Luckily though, I guess the cashier got suspicious and contacted my credit card company?? I don't know how they stopped it, but yeah the transaction didn't go through. Fucker. I just hope this would be the end of it.

anyone else here have encountered a similar problem? Identity theft?
This kind of shit really pisses me off.

Ohio Lottery winner dies after celebrating win

(01-27) 14:35 PST Sandusky, Ohio (AP) --

Authorities say a woman who had been out celebrating her lottery winnings at a north-central Ohio bar was killed when she was struck by a car.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Ohio Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Deborah McDonald of Crystal Rock had just left the bar near Sandusky on Tuesday night and was hit as she was walking along a road.

An Ohio Lottery spokeswoman says McDonald won $8,000 in the lottery's TV game show "Cash Explosion Double Play."

The show was taped Jan. 12 and is set to air at the end of the month.

Bar patrons say McDonald was with a group that had been celebrating her winnings and playing pool.

Patrol Sgt. Joe Wentworth says police are looking into whether alcohol was a factor, but they don't think the driver of the car was drinking.

Non-Music Shit / I love my cute boys
« on: October 08, 2009, 11:28:48 AM »
We just got 5 months old kittens from SPCA. The brown tabby is Rocky and the black & white one is Bullwinkle. I was a bit nervous cuz all our 3 cats lived long lives, so we haven't lived with young cats in so long. Man, they have so much energy! They're so cute and I already love them...

Non-Music Shit / Whoa, that was a rough flight
« on: September 23, 2009, 12:34:25 PM »
I just finished my SFO-PHX leg of my long journey to Memphis and boy, that was a rough flight! I think the plane was an old clunker and it hovered and shook hard above Phoenix for a long time. No one said a word...it was a total silence. And the Willy Nelson look a like dude across the isle from me was clapsing his hands at his chin, praying. Although this wasn't the worst flight I've been on, I'm glad to be on the ground. Do you have any flight stories to tell?
