I liked it!
You don't even have to know all the Trekkie stuff and still enjoy this movie. It's a good entertainment and they did a really good casting job. Simon Pegg from Spaced is in it as Scotty. I love that guy.
I see a sequel coming right out.

I feel guilty every time I blow ton of money on records. And I try to justify it by saying, "well, at least I didn't blow it on drugs or anything" Like today, I blew all my money at the swap, and I'm saying "well, at least I didn't blow it at Amoeba or anything" And if I blow all my money online, I say "well, at least I got this cheaper than I would've at a record store"
But the next day, the guilt disappears into oblivion and I'm on to blowing more money on records. Thus the perpetual justification of record buying...

Also, I encountered an elderly man having a stroke on BART tonight coming home from work. The man fell on the floor, not moving but his eyelids were moving vigorously. None of us knew CPR. Fuck. We finally got to my station and it took forever for BART employees to come to the car. Oh, and the emergency speaker device in our car to the train operator did not work...OF COURSE. We were getting really angry at their incompetence. Paramedics finally came. I hope that old man is OK. I'm still freaked out.

I have it and it sucks. And no, weed don't help unless you smoke like a bag of it every fucking day.
I have Narrow Angle Glaucoma. I rarely get the attacks but have been having one for a few days now. If you're not on acid and see halos around the lights and if your eyeballs hurt, go see a doctor now. You can lose your eyesight.
Some people are born with narrow, slit-like draining angles between the cornea and the iris and that's what causes the pressure to build up because the fluid can't drain properly. So I have to go back to my eye doctor in a few days for more tests and he says that I might have to get the laser treatment. Basically they're gonna make a microscopic drain hole on the iris for better drainage. Sounds simple enough but kinda scary.
Has any of you had this procedure done? If so, any complications?
