i think the warriors will take one game but unless the mavs fall apart, it is their series to lose. avery's brain freeze last year will probably prevent them from fucking it up. however the Mavs might be like the Kings of the late 90s/early 00s, always close but never there.
anyway, i am glad the warriors got to the post season. nelly is a great coach and they have some nice young players. expect them to be here next year too.
Congrats to all the Warriors fans on here. This could be one of the more interesting 1-8 series in a while.
Perhaps you could get this trashed copy for the min bid:

For a clean, cheap one wait for the reissue (or was it a boot?)
I believe Bomp has reissue copies, not sure if it's the same one,I did see a Sleepers 7" listed last time I looked several months ago.
Man, I haven't listened to the Sleepers in a long time. Got that retrospective CD (I think it came out on vinyl, too) that Tim Kerr Records put out back in the 90's. Might have to pull it out and listen. Wish I had some of that stuff on vinyl. Interesting stuff...
I'm kinda out of it, like Ricky Williams on ludes or whatever drugs he was on...
drive another 2 hours north and see zz top at konocti. that's what i'm doin!Heavy hitter of booze! I was referring to you my friend. Just make sure that your Camaro can make the drive home in time for the fiesta.
heavy hitters!? i heard barry bonds can't make it.
Off the top of my head:
Los Saicos
Los Shains
Every 60's beat song I've heard from France and Turkey
Every Japanese Group Sounds and Tokyo Rockers band
Carol
The Badge
Lots of current Japanese bands too like
Guitar Wolf
Scum City
The Nou
and Firestarter is now writing songs in Japanese.
I'm sure there are lots more I'm omitting from other countries, but Japan is primarily what I know. Whether or not I prefer a band to sing in their native language or English goes on a case by case basis for me. Most times I'm in favor of the native language though.
Sunday 6pm @ Argus Lounge with Touch-Me Nots & DJs Shane White & Mean Streets. Guaranteed heavy hitters will be in attendance! ie. dancin' drinkin' mayhem, plus you can get a Taqueria Cancun burrito next door!
Any suggestions or invitations?
I have leftover everett and jones chicken along with squash and curried carrots I made last night, but I was supposed to go out to lunch with a group today and failed to bring anything
Then the lunch got cancelled because we had to meet re: the Va Tech gunman
can a dick ticket be issued to a dead man? he ruined my lunch.
I had a pastrami sandwich for lunch. It sucked. I will never have another awesome pastrami sandwich until I return to NEW YORK. I don't know why I even tortured myself that way.
if by "shrimp" they mean "sea monkeys."
Today I will force my mother to take me out to lunch at LeCheval. So excited!

salad today.
goddamnit!
I wish Chris Woodhouse was still doing stuff...
There is a band right now with Woodhouse and an ex-Sexy Prison and a Sore/Standard Tribesman and some other dude on bass.
It's still unnamed and far of from playing shows yet. I'll tell you more when I learn more, but that's all I know aside from their practice schedule basically.
Keep your fingers crossed.
