My husband has a few rare sleeves that he's been meaning to get vinyl for. And for some reason, one of our cats have the knack to pick out only those rare ones from the boxes and bite the hell out of them. He keeps meaning to keep the record room shut, but I think the cats are mind-controlling him.

I made a big pot of soup tonight too...

cook-
chicken stock
cabbage
carrot
potato
shirataki - low cal and lots of fiber...good for cleansing

add-
soy sauce
rice vinegar
salt & pepper for taste
potato starch (dissolve in small amount of cold water first)
tofu
green onion

boil the soup and add beaten egg. done.

I talked to the Germans a few times.  Even after they tried to "collect" Melanie.  Decent use of the verb.  My German is fucking down the terlet after 10 years of neglect so it's not like I could have done any better than to talk about beer, toilets, shitting and sammeln.

The only sock puppet that I remember talking to on here that I hadn't really met before was Aya.

Camero Werewolf laid down some crucial, hidden guitar from the back of the stage in what looked like a motocross facemask.

Did anybody see a bottle thrown at the back of somebody's head at the house show on Friday in between the Buccaneer and Hi Tone shows?

Also, did anybody have any of the pickled pigs feet?  First time.  Not that bad.

My favorite roach that I saw was either the bathroom of the place with my favorite cheeseburger in Memphis when I turned on the light (it was lightning fast) or the lil' devil that was sitting on top of Bruce's cap that I noticed when I was DJing.  I think that Terri T got a pic of it.  Best bugs!

I dunno. I'm sure you can read this, but the label says fukanou which means "impossible" but the kanji on the label doesn't make sense as far as I can recon other than it can also read fukanou although I've never seen it written that way before. It would literally be something like "non-too much brain" but I'm sure it was meant as some sort of kotoba asobi.

yeah, the kanji used on it reads "not much brain" and it just sounds the same as "impossible". I guess they must've thought it looked more "punk" than using the proper kanji for "impossible".

Mad Dog is still open. I guess they remodeled the place though. I don't know if they still got all the Aston Villa stuff all over the wall, but from what I hear, now they have TV screens everywhere - making it a good place to watch soccer.

Oh, that match is on at 8am here...brutal!

so, is there going to be a BudgetRock: Arsenal v man citeh viewing party on October 24th?  i'll need to watch the game somewhere, and i've had mixed luck in SF before... any ideas?

You can most likely see that match at Mad Dog in the Fog in the Lower Haight. I think they still serve mediocre bangers there if you're hungry. You can also run across the street to Rosamunde and get yourself a pretty decent sausage too. After the match, walk half a block down on Haight pass Fillmore street and go to Rooky Ricardo's record shop if you fancy 60s and 70s soul and old 45s.
