Man, now that ESPN has dropped a ton of $$ to promote world cup here in the U.S., I sure do hope that they keep at it by showing more premiere league and other international matches. Maybe we can even get some of 'em aging EPL players along with the ones in Serie A and la liga to come out and play in...ahem, MSL. They need help bad. They are absolutely unwatchable.

I'm just hoping to see a well played match from the two completely different styled teams. But if I must choose a team, I pick Holland simply because I can't stand Villa. I guess the key will be who breaks through the defence first. Holland definitely has a chance with their strong frontline attack. We'll see how that left leg of Van Persie would do against Spain...to utilize their attacks, they need to bring the ball to Sneijder. And of course, Robben must have a good game. Should be interesting!

This girl with a knit cap that said "I love SF" just got on BART at Civic Center. She sat down across from me and got out a professional looking whip cream dispenser and I thought "she must be a pastry chef". Well, the girl proceeded to suck on the big ol'canister and took about 7 to 8 hits before stumbling off at 16th street...just another train ride in San Francisco.

man, another crossbar tragedy! At the 119th minute too...That was definitely a harsher loss for Ghana than it was for Japan. I feel their pain. Tomorrow, Argentina vs Germany. I can't wait!
