Upcoming Shows/Tours/Events / Metallica's 30th Anniversary gigs in SF
« on: July 30, 2011, 07:22:45 AM »
So, I guess they are playing 4 nights for only $6 a show(1981 door prices)... or $19.81(get it?) for all 4 nights, this December. Will they bring back Newstead for this? I doubt it!!

I've always found this dude completely ignorable. Then again, I live in America.

Is this the band that does 'Money Means So Much To Me'?  Love that song!

Pop Punk / Re: Rap recs

Early 90s G-Rap is the best shit. However, I care more about TAPES! Underground or otherwise. 7"s are to PUNK, what TAPES are to Early-90s G-Rap.

Got it used from a thrift store. Played it TONS. Condition is good, w/ light surface scratches. Cover is fine from what I remember, and it's got the insert in there and everything(pretty rad, has a pic of a chick on her knees pretending to blow a devo member who's weiner is replaced by a banana). Considering selling it, but I dunno it's so good.

I've got a copy in storage. Don't REALLY want to sell it, but I do need money... hmmm ....

Oh, me too. They got lame towards the end there, but yeah I agree(RE: Rip Off). Maybe that was a bad example.

On a big G-Rap kick lately. Don't get much sicker than Tommy Write 3...

TTT puts out a lot of stuff, but it almost always is GOOD. Keep up the killer work!

Can't stand it when labels obviously are just scouting out the popular/hyped bands and don't really seem to have any kind of vision(for lack of a better word) for their label, just putting out whatever they think they can sell right away. I prefer labels who are consistant with their output, without having too much of a cookie-cutter sound, say like Rip Off or Fat.
