You know, looking over these lists I guess I shouldn't say it's been a terrible year/great year to not buy much. For albums, it's been worse at least a couple-few times this decade. I'm big on debut 45s, though, and there just hasn't been shit in that way. Some good bands from previous years put out their debut albums, and the albums were solid. Just not a lot of exciting new combos that I've heard.
