Non-Music Shit / Re: Record Storage Boxes

Are comic book longboxes the same size? I was thinking about checking out the local geek den to pick some boxes up, but they may be too tall.

05/04? I don't have that on the Euro 72 70CD box set I downloaded

05/04 was just too good for the box set. But not too good for Record Store Day!

Everybody: shut up.

My friend picked up the Crime single.

What's this one?

Hotwire reissue. Hand numbered, over packaged, shitty USA colored vinyl.

Just ordered from Sub Pop. You can pre order the new LP at the same time.

$10 in a stack of stereos at the flea market today. Works great. Saw this in a VG museum recently, otherwise wouldnt have even noticed. So far the Spits have proved to be the best, video graphically.

Non-Music Shit / Re: americas second largest existing video arcade

Wish there were more arcades in the bay area. At least we have the two biggest conventions. I'd like to claim i have the second largest classic arcade in san francisco. Unless some jerk in the sunset with a garage has more than ten games. The musee mechanique has the most classic games in the city, hands down. The pinball museum in alameda is pretty massive too.

Non-Music Shit / Re: Strange Public Bathroom Behaviors
« on: February 20, 2012, 03:17:47 PM »

My work shares a bathroom with some Chinese businesses, all insurance places and offices. Mostly people just yell in their cell phones in Chinese while taking really straining shits, or just real loud grunting. One guy used to have this routine where he'd take off his outer coat and then jacket underneath, throw them on the door, take some deep breaths and JUMP up on the seat. He'd take down his pants (he might have actually taken off his pants and take a shit squatting on the seat. Really weird, but I know of a few instances of my friends catching people doing this places too.

I know a (white American) guy that discovered the great secret of eastern shitting: the squat n' shit. He climbs right up on our crazy western thrones and does his thing that way. I'm not sure what the pants situation is. Or shoes for that matter. The best part is that he hides it from girlfriends for as long as he can. But at some point those footprints give it away. Now he's happily married, and I have yet to ask the lucky lady if she's a convert.

Didn't see this one mentioned here, so...

http://www.collectorsfrenzy.com/Details.aspx?id=260948116784

This is around 4 times higher that what it typically goes for and only the 2nd time it's cracked the $1000 mark.  This one's $3000+.

I'll happily sell you mine.

This is sick...as in nauseating. I don't much about this record, besides that I had a unplayed copy I found in a 99 cent mark down bin some years back. I listed it and was floored when it hit $165 or so...this was only a year and a half or so after it came out. Wish I woulda held out....but it was still a good profit. The copy I had...had the inserts, but the yellow business card had some red fingernail polish...looked like dripping blood from the tack graphic.

Do you have an ellipsis button on your keyboard or what?

Any Homosexuals update, Larry?

We're working on that one now. It should be out this year. It's a pretty involved release.

Cool, I heard through the extremely unreliable grapevine that it was in limbo thanks to reluctant band members or something. Exciting.

The remastering is the bees knees. Chuck that old, poopy copy out!
