I really do sell used van's for a living.

Yeah, but that didn't take away from the fact that your reference to an absurd post was funny.  You saying "nope" doesn't make sense, even if you sell vans, and on the matter of not making sense, why was my post funny to you?

If it makes you feel a little better, I saw S.I.D.S. is some garage in Connecticut a few months ago and they weren't very good at all.

What made our set not good for you?

Synth. Screamers cover. Just not into it.

Yeah, I don't think anyone there besides the guy that helped us on the show was into it.  It wasn't our crowd, which is fine.  Thanks for being honest, but  guessing from your reaction and the general crowd at that place, I doubt  you knew who we were before we played, or if you did, you didn't like it to start with, or by default you don't like bands with synths (we actually don't use one, we use a shitty yamaha psr540).  All fine, biased reasons to not like us, but, I'm assuming here, razor shines probably already liked us, meaning that your opinion doesn't mean much to someone that is already interested in us or is objective.

I've only seen the live footage on the bonus DVDr of the 2nd S.I.D.S. 7", and that's convincing enough for me that they can be "on." Get in touch when you wanna come west, Hex!

I thought the DVD was horrible.  The production value is way too high for us and the live recording is bad.  Having 5 cameras, they didn't manage to get footage of me cutting off a lock of my hair with a switchblade, eating it, puking it, licking the puke off the floor, and spiting it on some guy infront of me.

They did however catch the footage of me throwing a gin and tonic on a guy's bare ass and the lime sticking then shoving a drum stick up a the same ass on the cd that comes with that release....put it into your computer and look for the video file.

We had on and off nights on tour, definitely, and that night was a weird one.

And razor shines, if it makes you feel a little worse, Montreal was an"on" night.  See cduelux's (sp?) review in "show review thread"

Don't do Savannah.  SIDS played there a couple times at this guy's third floor apartment in this old ass house, but he moved.  I highly recommend Charleston instead (an hour away from Savannah).  50 kids guaranteed to show up.  Our first show there was at an apartment that never had shows before and it was just us, the whole place was packed.  Great kids too.

I can definitely hook you up with that.  Holla bak, or we can talk when you in Bmore.

This shit reminds of a couple years ago back in Clevo. I was serving these two moderately cute early 20s-ish gals when I noticed that one of them had this "cute top" that was the cover of Unknown Pleasures with an open back and strings that pulled it together. It was a sort of aqua-green-ish color and it looked like she had made it herself. I was kinda impressed and maybe a little bit turned on, so I'm all, "That's a cool shirt, did you make it?" And she's all, "No, I got it at Urban Outfitters." And I'm all, Holy Fuckin Antichrist, in my head and I say, "Wow, well, I love that band" (still grasping at some sort of connection to both her and my sanity) and she goes, "It's a band?" And then my head imploded and nothing has ever been the same.

AHAH! I've seen the same thing!  Fucking.

BTW, nice meeting u at that pool place

There are also some nike ones:
http://www.cerysmaticfactory.info/joy_division_trainers.html

I would never want these or the NB ones.  I love Joy Division, but I don't need lyrics on my shoes or Unknown Pleasures on the soles of my feet.

Recuperation.

Not that the legal implications are there, but this reminds me of the Minor Threat Nike poster.

Not sure if any of you enjoyed the first 12 chapters as much as I did, but this is great:
