european hardcore is so fuckin bad at least the stalin are on it

Ahahhaha ~ fwiw ~ It never had a huge space in my collection and even tho. I lived in San Diego, I don't think I ever had any of the BCT tapes...
Loved that Stalin track but have not really been thrilled by them in general. I even left before a Michiro Endo solo in Kyoto...it was after Radio Shanghai and Firestarter tho....

Yeah, I can just let Alec B stay in character on 30 Rock for me forever...

I feel really ashamed to have never read LeGuin for numerous reasons ~ Besides Lathe of Heaven, can you recco. a few short stories. I rarely read fiction these days ~ADD from job/Internet, I reckon, so short stories to start to rehabilitate that...
Since you mentioned it, I assume you know she did a translation of Lao Tzu.

Given the Age we are living in, I highly recco taking up some spiritual practice with the most simple being, read one Lao Tzu - Tao Te Ching chapter/poem in the morning and meditate on its meaning. Revisit it at night and see if anything in your day corresponded with it or if you applied it in some way...

MRR has become a bastion of wokeness but I felt compelled to revisit the Welcome to 1984 comp...Some is just OK, but an interesting mix and definitely some all-time great OG HC tracks, I suppose. I totally forgot that the Crucifucks were the other US band ~ I remember when I bought it record shopping with a friend, one who would later become a central shitworker there~ saying the NOTA track was the only good thing on it and lauded the Tesco Vee - Dutch Hercules ep my other friend had purchased. I remember visiting him at the MRR House and he was reading Rules for Radicals while I was taping Crime singles...

shit, sorry about that, I am really mid-day stoned...I wanted to just say, "MR..........?"

The second album is out on 12XU, the third one comes out in January.

yah, I know about them and am sure they were filed under "check out later" and left in some dusty corner of my mental music room...I don't know much about Shit & Shine but have been intrigued.

Speaking of 12XU and not knowing the other stuff these guys have done, I was digging this earlier today...

I kinda thought Officer Buanga was Mr. Natural :P...I don't think he dissed the Saints, quite the opposite, but he did put The Descendents above The Fall, so it doesn't really matter what he thinks...

First time hearing this, I think...excellent sound and while missing the Dolph, it's ace!

you lost me buddy
C'mon! I gave you a goddamned syllabus at the beginning of class!
Hannah played in DOA and put talk - action = 0 into, well, action!

Gerry played in the subhumans, not DOA.

He played in DOA at some point I thought ~ my bad! Anyhow Mr. Hairsplitter, the two bands were closely related and that whole Talk - Action = 0 stuff came from these Canuck terrorists...

I highly recommend popping with coconut oil ~ get a real pure taste.
Only sensible post in this whole clusterfuck of a thread.

I only preach about one thing. Recently, I have been eating coconut yogurt - for vegans, which I'm not, but holy shit is it divine!
