I wish that Burning Bus lp would see the light of day (if it actually was ever recorded).

It was recorded and will be out early next year.

The STALLION
The Dark Side Of The Wall
All hail the debut release from The Stallion! The Stallion are Ben Wallers and Alastair Mackinven of the Country Teasers. For two years they labored at the legendary Hit Factory recording studios in London as their schedule allowed. The project at hand was their long-planned/often-threatened The Dark Side Of The Wall ? a song for song interpretation of Pink Floyd's 1979 album The Wall. At long last we are proud to unveil the results ? The Dark Side Of The Wall is upon us.
It should surprise no one familiar with Ben Wallers' work or record collection that he would choose this particular album to honor. The Wall's influence has been noticeable in his music before (see Spiderman In The Flesh from the Country Teasers' Empire Strikes Back album). The man likes his Floyd - he even rates The Final Cut as ?brilliant?.
It should also surprise no one that Roger Waters' compositions from The Wall take a morbid and twisted turn in the hands of Ben and Alastair. What was already a fairly dark and bleak piece of work becomes much darker and bleaker here. It's also longer. Pink Floyd's original contained 26 songs spread across four sides of long playing vinyl which, by comparison, was the same number of tracks as Pink Floyd?s four previous studio albums combined. The Stallion's take on these same 26 selections spans SIX sides of vinyl. Alastair says, ?it's longer so it's better, right?? You be the judge but, we concur.
The Dark Side Of The Wall is a beautiful piece of work both aurally and aesthetically. Packaged in a gorgeous heavy duty triple gatefold, this limited edition triple vinyl package won't be around long. You will hate yourself if you miss it.
Includes download code. First 100 on color vinyl.

They're particularly great on this tour. Lots of material from Machine Gun etiquette in the set.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but, as much as I'm not that into prog, I find myself listening this this compilation quite a bit.

Would've been awesome if they sent out an email blast to the folks who actually buy their records to give them an opportunity to buy tickets first. Just sayin'.

There will be more tickets going on sale Friday for the individual nights. The only ones sold so far were for three day passes. I had no idea they would be rolled out this way. I would've made sure that we had sent an email out to our mail order customers if I had thought tickets would go so fast. The Echo/Echoplex is pretty big. A couple of years ago on July 4th the Oblivians, Fuzz, Intelligence, Destruction Unit, LAMPS and others played the same venue and it was nowhere near sold out so I assumed the same fate for this. Sorry for the frustration.

Dan Melchior's Broke Revue are back with their first album since 2009's "O Clouds Unfold" (which was recorded in 2004). "Lords Of The Manor" is a stand out in Dan's massive catalog and ITR are proud to have them back on the label. You can order it now here - http://intheredrecords.com/ First 200 on green vinyl.

Here's what the Midheaven catalog says about it:

It?s been a long time since the world heard from Dan Melchior?s Broke Revue. Their last album, O Clouds Unfold!, was recorded in 2004 and was posthumously released in 2009. During their five year existence, the band?s sound evolved from raw, blues-based rock ?n? roll to a more experimental / post-punk style. Since the band disbanded, Melchior has carried on with a solo career that has been prolific, to say the very least. The volume of singles, albums and cassettes that he?s churned out over the past decade has been staggering.

Now, after a ten-year hiatus, Melchior has reassembled the Broke Revue and (in record time) recorded a new album. Lords of the Manor takes a very different turn from the band?s last album. O Clouds Unfold! was an voluminous showcase of Melchior?s infectious and melodic songwriting, with layers of extra instrumentation spanning 23 songs. Lords of the Manor is an entirely different beast; song structure and instrumentation are stripped to the bare bones, melody is ditched in favor of repetition, Dan?s usual lyrical style is jettisoned for a far more minimal approach and the band?s previous penchant for tightly-crafted two-to-three-minute rock songs has given way to long, sprawling improvisations. The result is dark, relentless and incredible.
